Zippy Shell was amazing and the perfect choice for our move. Their customer service was fantastic and reliable. We had over vendors let us down during our move so it was very refreshing to have Zippy shell show up when they said they would and completely take care of everything! We will definitely be using them again!

Jarrod provided great customer service in all aspects of our storage needs. I my opinion Zippy Shell of Birmingham is the best value for storage needs. We moved out of state got almost a year and had our zippy shell delivered to our new residence upon our return. The entire process was smooth...was able to sign contracts, ect online which saved me time, and billed via auto-pay which makes it easy also. The next time we need storage services we will definitely use Zippy Shell again.

My experience with Zippy Shell-Birmingham was good contrary to my experience with the main branch Zippy Shell: Portable Storage Units & Moving Company. After several delays from the main branch, the team at Zippy Shell-Birmingham was eager to compensate for the lost time, the personnel specially Michelle was very friendly, efficient, and understanding.

If you are moving within Alabama give Zippy Shell-Birmingham a try.

However I do not recommend the main branch of Zippy Shell for out-of-state moving.

We recently used Zippy Shell and absolutely loved their service! We were able to store all of our belongings from our old house temporarily while we were waiting on renovations to our new home to be completed. It was so nice (and convenient) to have them drop the container off at our old house to load and then deliver it to our new house when we were ready to unpack. Jarrod was so friendly and was able to accommodate all of our needs. Thanks Zippy Shell!

Horrible experience with Zippy Shell Birmingham.

Beware!!!
There are different owners at the different Zippy Shells so beware!! The owner of Zippy Shell Birmingham was uninterested and couldn't remember what was going on with my move. It made me feel uneasy the entire time. He also took $300 out of my checking account without my approval!! Also I had paid a month's storage and was told I would get back a refund for days not utilized. He denied there was ever any paid storage!! Do not use this facility, it's not worth the money you "think" you may be saving by the month's free storage offer. Don't do it...

In our recent moved, we decided to use Zippy Shell to store part of our household items. Since we were not able to move directly from one home to another, Zippy Shell was the perfect solution. Not only did they work with our schedule on both ends of the move but, Jarrod personally handled the delivery each time. I would highly recommend Zippy Shell to anyone who is looking for a storage solution.

DO NOT USE! If I could give a zero I would. I never write reviews but people should know. Moving long distance over 1700 miles and it has been almost 6 weeks and we still do not have our things. We paid extra to have the shell brought to us and we are still waiting. Customer Service is horrible. I will never be using and I am telling everyone I interact with about what a horrible experience this has been. Do not use Zippy Shell or 1-800- PackRat. They are all the same company and horrible.
