After hearing some horror stories from friends fresh out of school, like myself and my teammate I was very nervous coming into orientation here at Werner. Boy was I pleasantly surprised and so far I couldn't be happier with my choice. I'm happy I'm here and I can't wait to see what the future holds.

Was at the terminal for the night while waiting on a load to Ohio. Friendly Werner employees and was nice to have a little snack store inside the drivers lounge. Great for a shower and wait to get a load.

Started at werner. Its the safest choice for new hires and experience drivers. So long as you handle your job with integrity there are plenty of opportunities outside of being a driver alone. Ive trued different companies in my 5yrs an only one other company was decent. Everyones experience varies for sure however i feel like werner is the safest move for job security an everyone is held accountable for their actions. Legalities are are taken absolutely serious here so if your superior is acting unprofessional they get addressed. Good luck

Werner as a company is great. As of late the company has been going down hill, and that's typically going to happen with truck companies with peaks and valley seasons. However this company has literally disregarded all the good mentioned above and hired some of the most unqualified employees to dispatch, mechanics, you name it, it don't stop there. They treat pregnant women like absolute shit here now an will find every reason to not give out maternity leaves. Ever HR has gone downhill, you mean to tell me the people who are supposed to fix problems are here protecting their friends jobs? Oh yes... oh yes you heard correctly...LEGAL THINGS HERE CAN GET YOU A BIG BOY TICKET HERE...because werner is highkey turning into a swift or a CR England. Oh let's not forget that you definitely don't want to team drive here either. Why? Underpaid, no runs, dispatch looks to you as an animal and if there are any issues they will remind you that they must "protect their team" even when you have all the proof that night dispatch is acting up they will constantly blame you for late loads they hand you. Let's not forget these said loads are already late 97% of the time...for instance...

"hey it's 7pm... can you run this LA load to Florida an deliver it tomorrow at 7am?"

Think I'm joking? No sir no ma'am. Me and my wife delt with this bs none stop and they forced us to drive these shitty runs or they wouldn't get us work or atleast try. As a team driver the most I took home claiming myself single and like .5% on taxes, we would both take home maybe 650-750 a week after taxes....this isn't what you want as a team driver gone for months at a time. At that rate you are working harder not smarter and it don't matter if you are getting paid weekly, this isn't guaranteed. With 6months exp you could make 1400 a week doing local runs somewhere else...trust me on that. There's so much more I wanna share with you but I leave you with this an you make an honest decision. Once upon a time this was a good company. Now every truck breaks down, every shop has some rude ass guy or gal with an attitude an they will lie about fixing your truck. I sat for a month trying to get my bunk heater fixed for the winter time...Phoenix terminal just needed to send the truck to a dealership for that type work...nah took them a month of lying to pull this off an the guy is still there with half of team being just like him and the other half deserving of a better team. I don't get rude unless you're rude an dude over seeing the mechanics had the audacity to get hostile with me an at the time my pregnant wife because we gave him a hard time about a repair. You would be mad then a mother fker if you sat for a month....finally your trucks next to be inspected, and the dude who just graduated highschool pulls your truck to a bay in front of you an just smokes a cigarette to then park the truck an say nothings wrong with it lmfaooooo! Werner is a joke of a company and you should run the fuck away quickly. Yes they pissed me off bad, justifiably so, but my review is factual....from them being good to them now being bad. Ain't no job security here anymore and I will never recommend this place, yall don't deserve more drivers since you hire toddlers and grown babies to run logistics and HR. But to those who do their job here and know you don't behave this way stated above....if it don't apply let it fly....peace

Nice place to visit. Safety staff are really nice and helpful. Maintenance shop staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

CONS: Lunch truck does not serve good food. They can barely cook or don't follow recipes. Prices are high. Not worth paying for. Hopefully another catering company will replace them soon.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well structured and organized the entire Werner Welcome experience was. The instructor was knowledgeable, super friendly and very helpful in answering all questions throughout the entire process. Werner Enterprises is a world-classs company that truly cares for their employees across-the-board. They offer top of the line in house training on a simulator to promote the use of critical and evaluative thinking for real life scenarios. In addition Werner provides their employees with newer trucks equipped with the latest technology. I would highly recommend 'Werner' to anyone who is thinking about joining the trucking industry.
