It's the middle of summer, no Ac at all, can't go outside bc you get swarmed by mosquitoes and I'm allergic. Not only that but they changed the time to 3am and it's 2 hours late. So train won't even be here til 5. Not safe having people wait in inadequate stations for late trains

RUDE doesn't start to describe the attendants on 6/7/21 from Texarkana to St. Louis. I have ridden several times on Amtrak and always had a good trip. This trip ruined it. The attendants are uppity and rude. Snack bar closed at 10pm with a train full of people.
Then when these concrete like seats started getting uncomfortable, was told the car was closed and to return to my seat. No observation car, no dinning car, just coach cars and rude power trippers. I won't ride Amtrak again and I'll make sure my company knows about this experience so they wont put anyone else on Amtrak for any reason.

I want to bring it to the attention of all who read the completely unprofessional treatment we received as passengers of Amtrak. We waited one hour before our train arrived at the Walnut Ridge, AR station. As first time passengers, we and 4 other passengers were unaware of the procedure for boarding the train. It was not posted, explained at booking, or communicated in any other way. The train stopped and let two people on board and left as 6 passengers were approaching the tracks. I am absolutely outraged that this has happened. When I called customer service, the only remedy given was to reschedule for the next evening for an additional fare. So if you travel amtrak you better be on that platform, because you have less than 1 minute to board.
