One star because my expectations are based on the ETA... Still waiting for a signature package that should've arrived 2 days ago...
Will edit this post as the days goes by. Hopefully I won't need to reach out to the post master, investigation team, and consumer affairs.
I didn't pay extra to be subjected to delays at a facility that seemingly lacks organization, work ethics, and customer service skills- missing by not only the high number of ONE STAR reviews, but based on my own experience. This is the definitely reading like a breech of contract occurs within these reviews.

Whenever I ship packages from the Stockbridge location, they somehow end up in Palmetto. Whoever is running this distribution center needs an audit. Why is there a hold-up in shipping? I shipped three packages on March 3rd at 11:30 a.m., and my clients have yet to receive their packages! This is ridiculous. Just in case you want to know...That was 16 days ago. -

Sick of my packages being lost due to this place and their lack of any human compassion. This facility is HORRIBLE! People spend money they don't have to waste on packages they NEED and this facility can't be bothered to care the smallest bit. It's disgusting. But God sees every move you make and how you treat other people and losing people's important mail falls under the "treating others badly" category. This is ridiculous and they deserve a -60 on their score.

I’m extremely disappointed with USPS. I have a time-sensitive government document that was supposed to be delivered by March 24th, 2025, and as of April 7th, it has still not arrived.
The document reached North Metro Distribution Center in Atlanta on March 20th, already delayed, and was then transferred to the Palmetto facility on March 21st. It sat there until April 2nd, when it was redirected to another USPS facility, only to return to Palmetto the next day, April 3td.
I filed an inquiry on April 2nd and have received no response since. I even visited three different USPS facilities in person, including Palmetto, but no one could locate my document.
To make matters worse, USPS employees themselves admitted that the Palmetto facility is disorganized, with reports of lost and misdirected documents, and drivers waiting days just to get processed. This situation has caused me not only stress but also the loss of an important trip I was supposed to take on April 8th. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing to depend on such an unreliable system, especially knowing I’ll have to wait for other important documents to arrive via USPS again.
Absolutely unacceptable.

Back in November I had several packages stolen at this facility. I sent a letter with a lawyers letter head to the governor which led to the crackdown of this facility mid December. Today I've had another package go mysteriously missing, and another stuck in transit. Definitely will be sending out another letter.

Well, Palmetto lost another package. Second one in three months. The other package contained grandkids Christmas gifts ....it arrived almost a month late.

This package was shipped on February 13 from Arizona ...Today is March 12th and still lost.
Palmetto DC held it for 10 days...then shipped it off to Washington, DC facility.
I am about 60 miles from the Palmetto DC!!! Why ship it to Washington DC? Now is has been "in transit" for 6 days to who knows where..

NOTE: The U.S. Postal Service reported a net loss of $9.5 billion for fiscal year 2024!!!!!!!!
Privatize this beast. It is obvious no one is accountable and all the workers I talk to say the system is broken.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Another package “lost” in this mess of a postal facility. Tried to use the missing package feature available for customers- it says what I can find out myself. Last checkin was Palmetto USPS facility, in transit to destination. Same thing for the last 11 days. No one should use USPS if they want their package or mail to get where it’s going

I think this is where packages go to die. You can't file a claim for a lost package because they just change the status to "in transit, arriving late" and claim that your package is still on the move. I don't think I'll ever expect to get what I ordered all because this facility is not able to run smoothly.
