USPS Teterboro Distribution Center - Teterboro, New Jersey

In order to have a product purchased from an American store's e-commerce site delivered to Japan, I selected USPS as the shipping company by default.
Two days after placing the order, I confirmed that the package had been entrusted to their partner GLOBAL POST, but since then it has been moving around a small area in NY and NJ for a week, especially in the past two days, leaving Teterboro twice and arriving in South Hackensack twice.
When will the package be delivered to USPS and be able to leave the US?
I got to know firsthand the current state of the notorious USPS.

It’s interesting to see 5-star reviewers referencing 1-star reviews to claim that we only give low ratings after a bad experience. Let’s put it this way: if this were a restaurant and someone spit in my food 2 out of 10 times, would I still rate it a 10? I’ve lost 4 packages out of maybe 10+ shipments, amounting to a few thousand dollars. If a package is delayed more than 2-3 weeks or lost in transit, there should be a direct phone number available to contact the disruption center for an immediate investigation. Filing an online claim that leads nowhere is not a solution.

I so rarely do reviews and never for something that isn't a 5. Yet, I wish there was an option for 0 stars. How is it that every distribution center pushes my packages / mail through in a timely fashion, yet if something goes to Teterboro I have to consider selling my soul just to make sure it makes it out of there? Imagine being one of the first recognized parcel delivery services, yet being outdone by non Government companies such as USPS & Fedex who have been around for far less time. I have filed a complaint with the Office of the Inspector General and will continue to seek accountability for this distribution center. My advice, if your package is even going to any zip code in NJ that starts with 07, just drive or fly it out yourself. It's the only way it will actually get to it's destination, and maybe they'll close this location. I'll say a prayer for anyone else whose package ends up here.

I don't even reside in New Jersey but boy does this center cause me issues. I've had a package waiting in preshipment since Friday. If it's not moved along today are you just gonna keep it? You guys are the only one in the tracking info that takes days, you guys suck as a postal unit.

The Teterboro Processing Center has always had some problems managing the volume of mail that goes there but things have become really oppressive for anyone hoping to get their mail on time. Teterboro is often the 2nd to last stop before northern New Jersey customers get their mail sent to their local post office. Numerous times in the last few months packages have been scanned as arrived at Teterboro by Thursday afternoon and for some reason they can’t get it processed to my local post office 10 miles a way for 3 Work Days or more. My current packag was scanned at Teterboro this past Thursday and has been scanned 3 consecutive days after with “In Transit.” Unless they are delivering the mail on a Donkey I cannot rationalize how there can be 3 consecutive days of scans to a post Office barely 10 Miles Away. The USPS has become a sad joke.

Worst distribution center ever. I would rate negative stars if possible. My package was stuck here for longer than it took to get there. Mind the package was coming from California, so it just goes to show how terrible this center is. Didn't even receive an update for over 24 hours. It takes 24 hours for it to move through the facility? And I paid a ridiculous amount for expedited shipping? I hope this center gets federally investigated and shut down. Permanently. Whoever manages this place should be ashamed when they look in the mirror. It literally took longer for my package to supposedly "move through the facility" than to get there coming from CALIFORNIA. I literally would have rather just driven there to pick it up myself. What a disgrace.

USPS PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS FACILITY
My package was supposed to be delivered today, and guess what, of course, it’s held up in Teterboro’s awful distribution center. My packages swiftly move through other distribution centers except for this one, always

This place is the absolute worst. Someone needs to investigate the operations at this facility. If you’re looking for a black hole, look no further this is it. Just in the span of two weeks they’ve lost two packages… and I have a third package coming out of Teterboro with the dreaded “Moving Through Network - In Transit to Next Facility” which basically translates to “wait three more weeks, we don’t know where it is”

UPDATE***: after waiting a month my package finally arrived in the condition shown in the photo. Not only has the package been opened, someone ACTUALLY took the item I ordered and replaced it with something else.
