When you take a right down 29th st go through the tunnel to 10th. Take a right and park as far on the left of street as possible. Walk across the street and between docks 1040 and 1041 in the back (hidden) is the door to get inside. Walk through first room and the office is on the right. Be prepared to blindside into spot. Drivers can stay in their trucks, so hopefully there are some nice ones there that will help you stop traffic and guide you in. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor. 3 stars because if you have help, it’s not too bad of a place to park.

What is up with this place? I mailed two boxes on Jan. 31, 2025 from Milwaukee, WI to my son and one box arrived yesterday open like someone had cut along the side of the tape left a huge hole on the box so his items could fall out. And the other box arrived in New York and been at this facility since Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025 at 9:39am. And then I get another message on Sun. Feb. 9, 2025 saying that the USPS tracking is showing in transit to next facility, arriving late. How can an item be in transit to the next facility when it is at the facility and should have already been delivered to the recipient? Is it in transit to the next room ? I don't know what the hell goes on at this place, but from the reviews I have seen, which are terrible, I am praying my son box will reach its final destination to him. It makes me have no faith in the USPS delivery services. I am praying it is not lost and the items are secure in his box too and they have not lost the box or they have a issue with unethical employees stealing packages and boxes! And I called the 800 number and all they gave me was a service request number. I hope the insurance I took out is good because I have lost faith in USPS delivery services. Never Again

What is up with this place? I mailed a item that had a final destination of 48th Street in New York City and it arrived on Feb 1st at this facility. For the last 5 days USPS tracking is showing in transit to next facility, arriving late. How can a item be in transit to the next facility when it is at the facility and should have already been delivered to the recipient? I don't know what the hell goes on at this place, but from the reviews I have seen, which are terrible, I have a feeling my package will never reach its final destination, either USPS has lost the package or they have a issue with unethical employees stealing packages!

Letter has been there for 10! Days! Still “moving through network, in transit to next facility”. Terrible!

I guess it’s still looking for the “next facility”! We’re having to stop payment on a school invoice and reissue it to arrive by the 20th. Will NOT be sending with USPS!

I paid for priority shipping to send a package with a bunch of sensitive and Personal information about me and about 6 other people to be sent from Bronx to manhattan USCIS and it got lost. It’s so horrible service and so incompetent. I hey USPS and now due to their lack of proper shipping we could go into legal actions from USCIS.

Package sent from Flushing, NY to In Transit for 17 days. I contacted them at 12 days and it took them 5 days to find and scan it in to Metro Distribution Center. I hope it finally gets out of NY and on it's way to Florida soon.

Ongoing investigations reveal a concerning trend: reports of stolen IRS checks being forged are on the rise. Individuals who have opted for the "USPS INFORMED MAIL PREVIEW" have not received images of their IRS paper check previews as expected. When contacting the IRS, they are instead receiving brown envelopes stating that their checks have been processed under a different name. This suggests a potential theft of checks from this facility, as no scanned images of the paper checks have been captured. If you have not received your paper check or any scanned image of your IRS return check after six weeks, please promptly contact your local IRS office.
