I went to TruPrep last night after speaking with the gunsmith, Shep, online, about a shotgun I wanted to get some work done on. Even though he was busy, he was polite, knowledgeable, and extremely insightful. He helped me to figure out the parts I would need, saving me from certain disaster with what I planned to buy. I'm going to have him do the work I need once I get the parts in.

When I was finished speaking with Shep, I looked around the store and was pretty impressed with their selection, especially their firearms selection, which was diverse and full of some fantastic, cool guns. The accessories they carry are also great.

I have been to TruPrep several times and I find the employees to be highly knowledgeable and very helpful. They've given me recommendations on how to structure my purchases to save money and special shoutout to Colum for his excellent customer service. Their selection is pretty decent; they won't always have the exact brand that you're looking for but they almost always at least the type of product (the same can't be said for all of their competitors in the area). The value in pricing can depend on the situation. I've found that prices online are going to be cheaper if the vendor includes free shipping. If you have to pay for shipping, then TruPrep can come out ahead.

Recently, on the advice of a family member, I went to True Prep to purchase a firearm. Mr. Sheppard and his co-workers went out of their way to ensure I bought exactly what I needed without breaking the bank. Shep is probably the greatest armorer I've met. Griffin and Mark really know their stuff when it comes to firearms and accessories, and Shep will be more than capable of making the right configuration for you. I love Griffin, Landon, Mark, and Shep a lot.

I stopped by to potentially buy a new AR-15 lower. I thought I had done irreparable damage to my current one by performing a modification. I told the gent behind the gun counter about my issue and he immediately referred me to a staff member (Shep). Shep took a quick look and diagnosed the issue in moments. He did this free of charge and it saved me hundreds of dollars and additional headache. Thank you guys for the excellent service and for going above and beyond when you didn't have to.

Incredibly irritating. Called and asked if they had specific PA-108 ammo cans, at least 100 of them. Guy says, We have a few skids of them. Told him I was heading there to get them. Hour and a half drive later and guess what... Zero in store. Dude says "i have a few lids." I am confident it was a bait and switch to try and get me to buy a different size he had in store. Not only did he not have them, He prevented me from being able to get them elsewhere by the time i needed them. Thanks for wasting my time.
