Went to the Tinton Falls store today (Feb. 17th) for wood pellets for heating. I was told the season is over and they wouldn't be getting anymore in. It's the middle of winter, 35° and the season is over? A little less convenient, but the Tom's River store had pallets full of the product.

I walked in 30 minutes to closing to pick up some t-posts to put a sign on my property. I couldn't find what I was looking for inside the store, when an employee, Brian, saw me and asked me if I needed help. He told me the directions how to get outside to the side of the store where they were located. I have been here for a few years and thought the gated area on the outside was for employees only. Now I learned that is where all the good outdoor stuff is stocked. Will have to visit again in the daytime. Brian stood by and showed me the different sized t-post areas that were stocked. Once I had what I needed I was about to walk inside to checkout when he said he could use his phone to provide checkout right then and there which was great. I then planned to walk back to my truck with the heavy t-posts through the store and he was three steps ahead of me and unlocked the outdoor gate for a shorter trip. Great experience and customer service. Will be back again in the daytime far from closing to check out what you have outdoors.

Never been here before today. I went to pick up dog food for my friend. The woman (I wished I got her name) who helped wear above and beyond to help me. The inventory wasn't correct but she checked throughly. She was not just helpful, but she even thanked me for being nice to her. I think I found a new spot for my own dogs needs.

Typically go in there quite a bit. The staff and managers are always great. However when I went to return water troughs the employee by the name of Brian had given me an issue saying that he could not accept the return. Meanwhile they were not bought that long ago. They had leaks in them. I also tried to explain to him that Rubbermaid has a lifetime warranty on them and they will replace them. Still would not accept it.

My new favorite store! Just bought a new (old) house with a big wooded lot. The prices here are so much better than the big orange store that I was going to for many things. The staff is always friendly and did I mention great prices?

Came in for a doordash order for dog treats; the staff was UNBELIEVABLY helpful. Actually went back for myself TWICE already after seeing their selection and prices. Who knew this place had so much different stuff? Probably everyone... BUT I DIDN'T 😉. They have a repeat customer in me for sure!

I'm in my 70s, and I get 50 lb bags of shelled corn. I've been getting corn there for years. Only one time did an employee offer to put the corn in my truck. I don't know if you would find one to ask, Employees today act like they hate to be asked anything.

I do love the overall feel of a tractor supply. Good selection of things you can't get elsewhere. Friendly employees that are always happy to chat. Sometimes a little too much amongst themselves but it's all good. Prices can be a bit higher for some items compared to lowes or home depot.
