Over Memorial Day weekend, I got an emergency call to repair a broken pool cover. I needed a very specific part—one I knew Home Depot wouldn't carry. I called Ace Hardware, and JONAH and ANTHONY immediately stepped up. They didn’t just find the part I needed—they pulled multiple sizes and alternative options as a backup, just in case the first didn’t fit.

Thanks to their quick thinking and solid product knowledge, I avoided a trip back down the hill from PV. First part fit like a glove. Props to both of them for handling it with precision and professionalism when it counted.

I am appalled at the lack of respect and the mistreatment of many customers who have shared their experiences on here. I experienced first hand recently when I went to buy some touch up paint. As soon as I asked where I could find a specific product, I was met with disrespectful attitude. The kind where customers are made to feel stupid. I, of course, don't tolerate such BS and immediately pushed back. That’s when he decided to assist me.

But, customers should not have to fight to get decent service. Good customer service needs to be there from the start. The owner, managers and employees there need to have some human relations training. That's what good companies do when they FAIL the public.

Do better or expect to lose a lot of business as word quickly gets around. Thank you.

Best stocked ACE hardware in Torrance. It's half a block away from Van Ness in Carson Street. They carry all kinds of odd size nuts and bolts. Again, this store is well stocked. Forget about the depot...

Best selection of fasteners in all of the south bay. The staff is always extremely helpful and has helped me find very specific pieces of hardware many time. This is the only place I'll ever buy my hardware and fasteners at due to the attention by the employees and the incredible selection of fasteners

This hardware store must still be in operation only for historical reasons because their service is atrocious. First, their prices are ridiculously high: I bought M8 screws for $2.35 apiece when the same screws are available from Grainger for $0.20. And when I bought these back for return (with the original receipt), I was interrogated for several minutes as if I was trying to steal something. And on top of that, they charged me 20% restocking fee. What a ripoff, I will avoid this place like a plague in future.
