The main truck entrance is off of Cheryl Lane. If you take the other gate (which is also a labeled truck entrance), they will ask you to back off the street and move to the other one. Two companies share this facility, so make sure you check in at the correct door. The Chef's warehouse office door is a walk-in refrigerator door located in the middle of the yard. When I tried going in though, their door was locked from the outside. This made it very difficult to flag down the employees I needed to speak to. Thankfully, I caught someone's attention as they gave back paperwork to another driver who had finished unloading. I told them my appointment was at 10:30, which was their designated lunch time apparently. The person I spoke to seemed to have forgotten. Only thing I will say is good about this place is that the backing was easy and they got me into a door right away. They also have trailer bathrooms next to the main gate. Other than that, things could have been a lot smoother if more clear signs were posted to help find the correct truck entrance as well as their check-in office.

As best as it gets in the industry! Literally less than 10 minutes to get unloaded, not exaggerating. Granted it’s only 4 players but still! Awesome place!

Had a 9:30 appt. Got here on time got a dock right away and I was gone @ 10:30. No overnight parking signs on the street. I didn’t see any trucks parked on the street either

As a Truck Driver. Chef's Whse is a unique experience in receiving/ shipping. Receivers- they're Cordial to everyone but, unfortunately they don't understand what drivers need.

I think some of the older reviews must have been from a different location? This review is for the 455 S Brea conyone Blvd location. The entrance is off of Cheryl St. Pull up to the gate, push button and they'll open it. Recieving entrance is between door 10&11. I had a 06:30 appt for 4 skids. Checked in at 06:15, was out by 06:45. Very nice clean new warehouse. Can probably get a bit tight when they're busy, but there were only 3 trucks there when I was there. Recieving guy was professional and fast.

Mr. Ruben at receiving is very rude for some time now and when I ask him what is going on because we deliver at Chef's for over 7 years every Monday and this facility was fastest to deliver 1 hour in and out. Now it takes 3 to 4 hours some time and for example 2 weeks ago 6 trucks come after me and they left beafor me so I ask for Michael the manager and he told me he's not longer there then everything makes sense. Today 11/20/2017 He removed 1 extra pallet from different company and the driver has to come back 35 miles to pickup the pallet and deliver to right company than he was late to pickup appointment in Fresno, so he has to reschedule for the next day. All this because Mr Ruben don't do his job. Maybe we have to pay him some tip to do a better job. We miss Mr Michael Verrengia he was the best !!!!
