I’ve had received an interview from the recruiter Sheffali Kumar on Tuesday at 5:00 PM. I went there on time and they said that my name wasn’t listed for the interview. I was shocked because I have received the email confirmation and a text message confirming my interview. I had onether job interview which I declined for the Tesco one. I had put all my hope on this job. After, I was able to book onether interview for Thursday at 5:00 PM. I have received the email confirmation and the text message. Therefore, I go to the Tesco depot again for the interview and they say that my name wasn’t listed for the an interview again. I’m very frustrated and annoyed by the Tesco recruitment team and how they handle the people. I had a horrible experience with this Tesco depot and I’ll be making a complaint for this.

A great place to work if you are prepared for hard work. The cold warehouse was enjoyable to work and move around in but maybe not for everyone. There are a few negative points like some managers and supervisors but it depends who you are as a person. Abigail my manager than Jose than Ashley amazing managers. The podium supervisors like Miroslav, Aaron, Andreea etc amazing. And warehouse Goods In team like Sabi, Mindy, Dino etc also so amazing to get on with. The staffline and Tesco pickers all amazing. The warehouse picker is the hardest role. I had a great time working there. I enjoyed working with people that have been there for a long time and a lot that left. The HGV driver and shunter, amazing roles but boring and isolating. Nice to have worked with All the people that are there in the warehouse and some have left. I did all rounder in this Tesco in just 2 years. I highly recommend working there. I’m so glad to have been part of this depot.

I am writing to complain about a very scary driver I encountered on the A13 this morning who was driving wrecklessly and almost caused me crash my car. Licence plate Yn71skx

Around 9.15am this morning I was unfortunate to be driving parallel to your staff via Limehouse tunnel all the way to the A13 when I exited at Ripple Road.

The driver swerved into me as we got onto the A13 and there is a small lane divide for about 0.2miles. Although it was not safe he sped up from the middle lane to over take me resulting in him pushing me toward the crash barrier. had I not been an experienced driver I would have collided and instead I had to quickly drop my speed which was within the limits.

The driver was a white male probably around 40 to 50yrs old. Note that his speed continued to be that way above 50mph the entire time spent on the A13. I was very shaken by the experience and there was no reason for him to merge into me expect that he wanted to to be in the right lane in order to speed.

I would like to raise this as a complaint and will also escalate this to the Ombudsman as my research suggests Tesco do not have a great reputation for investigating complaints.

Delivering goods to this depot was a good experience.
There is no paperwork.
There is a screen at the gatehouse/barriers - just follow the instructions on the screen, and it will tell you on what bay you have to reverse in.
Go to the goods in the office
(around bay 85) and look for a key box
(Top left corner)
Type your reg and bay numer on the litte screen and wait for the box to open.
Put your keys in and close it.
Pull the pin and keep it safe.
Now you can relax and look for the TV size screen with live updates.

The food is pretty cheap, or I would say cheaper than elsware (vending maches)

Waiting room and toilets are clean.

As a HGV driver trying to make the deliveries intime, and surviving all day with peanuts and jerky I've asked at the goods in reception for the canteen to eat some fresh food and was rudely told that I'm not allowed even if I wanted to pay which you do you actually pay for your lunch, and the receptionist told me that for the drivers that are not contracted I can use only the machines, which are expensive and unhealthy in my opinion, Very disappointing as in another Tesco branch drivers are allowed to eat there by paying.

5 pallets or 44 it gonna take them 2 hours to do. Vending machines are broken, drinks machine was out of order since the begging of 2024
