7 am appointment arrived at 6:30am. I was given a door but was told not to park until 7am. I was the first tru k to park and to get a red light but my unloaded de ided not to start unloading me at all I guess. It is now 9:am and they haven't start the unloading process plus I have the door open. Drivers stay away from this facility and make sure you read the comments before you come to this place.

I would not recommend to book a load to this dc especially if you are an owner operator, you are going to loose money because of 12hrs unloading. For those who drive for a company, take food and everything you will need and enjoy staying on the dock for unlimited . I had 7am appt and checked in at 645am got door right away it’s 2pm I’m still here from there you can imaging how awful and sluggish this facility management. .. all comment made by drivers is accurate no false statement regardless .

This is the WORST SYSCO I have ever been too. Unfortunately I come here every week and it's always the same , you arrive on time or before your appointment, get a door and wait 4 hours so fare today for your paperwork. I'm always empty within 30 minutes of pumping the dock , hardly any breakdown on my product every week, so it's not the lumpers, it's sysco receiver's , taking their sweet time riding the clock. Burning my time on my clock , making me late for my next stop, EVERY FREAKING WEEK.. 2 weeks ago, I was so late I had to spend the night deliver the next day and lost my reload that night that I reload every Thursday night. Yet they go home every night. No matter what happens, we ( drivers ) get shafted we don't get paid if the wheels aren't turning yet, no one cares, they go home. Maybe someone from the main office needs to sneak in and see just what is going on and start firing these LAZY receivers.
Maybe they are union, which is even worse
I don't know , but I do know this place sucks as far as receiver's go for us truckers.

We went to the office twice to provide a number of comcheck, but they sent my driver back twice and closed the door and told us to wait in the truck.
They don't respect other people's time, The worst place for delivery. Drivers and Dispatchers, if you see delivery here, cancel your load., very worst receiver .

The truck and driver that services Capital One Arena illegally runs their diesel generator for two hours at a time in the poorly ventilated loading dock where people actively work since 2023. You really need to look up Dc’s laws on idling engines, if you need me to help you read it I have it saved on my phone. We are overwhelmed with the fumes and have asked the driver multiple times to not run his generator because it’s a health hazard, security sometimes intervenes but direction is rarely followed. Today I asked the driver to turn it off because it was causing us to exhibit signs of carbon monoxide exposure. He turned it off for maybe 5 minutes and turned it back on. I had to be hospitalized because my symptoms were so bad. I passed out and was taken away by EMTs. If I could find a correct way to sue yall for how this driver has continued to hurt our health and well being I’d be taking yall to the bank. Absolutely irresponsible and dangerous behavior, shame on you.

Today is Monday, June 5th, 2023 and I’m sitting here at Sysco Baltimore right now. I checked in at 3:30am and was the first truck to park on the property. That is the 1 plus about delivering to this Sysco.

I have a total of 96 cases of crab meat, 96!!
My appointment was for 12:00 noon but thought that maybe they would have wanted to get me out of the way with only having 96 cases. The time that I received the call to back into the door was 1:29pm. In doing the math, I come up with 9 hours and 59 minutes. TEN HOURS!!!

Why I’m the world are we sitting at a food distribution center this long? This is totally unacceptable, unnecessary and down right unprofessional!! This is very poor excuse of a food handler, at best. And this is not the first time. Every single time I come here I end up getting held up and missing my other stops. I’m just fed up now because it’s totally uncalled for.

My advice to anyone that’s reading these reviews, if this location can’t handle the work load, get out of it!! You totally give Sysco a very bad name. Horrible!!

I have attached photos of my product to give everyone an idea of the 96 cases that I brought in today.

Thank You again Sysco for ruining another day for me!!! Because of the molasses attitude I’ll be getting back to my family about 1:00am Wednesday as opposed to 6:00pm tomorrow.

I’m currently here on the property if anyone would like to come and talk face to face about the ridiculous issues that this facility suffers from. I’m in door 44 and I’ve been in the industry for 33 years. If you want good advice, get it from the ones who know the industry.

I got here at 830 for a 1030 apt, still at the dock at 1:00...it was 3 pallets...haven't felt any movement for 90 minutes. It is easy to find and fairly easy to dock, if not too many docking at same time. Have one bathroom.

Always have issues picking up my company’s will call orders. The problems are always due to their system but they never try to offer solutions, there is zero customer service. On many occasions I’ve been turned away because they no longer had time for the order we placed days ago or had to wait 2+ hours past the set pickup time due to their disorganization.
