Not professional at all, few employees seem to care. Iwaited 1hr 1/4 to drop off my cargo. No restrooms said there broke. Spend your money on a better air cargo

Honestly, I hate giving a one star review to anywhere but flying Hawaiian is one big deal and the second part of shipping an animal, was a disaster. (Skip to the good part and use Alaska, it’s right in the same building)

We decided as a family we would relocate to Hawaii. That meant our dogs would need to go through an entire ordeal to get over to the island (be educated and early). Unfortunately, this airline was our best option at this time. Summer changes the flight issues for dogs due to weather restrictions.

I’ll spare you the worst part but I sat in their office for almost three hours with our two dogs. They let me sit there while they attempted to contact their boss regarding my dogs and their crate sizes. The same crate sizes that they are accustomed to. Three hours. From 3am to 5:50am. And I don’t even think they actually contacted the manager. It was too early. The manager wouldn’t even see my dogs before the flight would left at 7am for the flight.

Only one dog was able to fly this occasion. After all the foot steps, preparing to ship our dogs the office was not helpful to say the least. (The other side of the office for Alaska bravo to them) Per the man that was “helping” said the manager is an animal lover - guess what lady, I’m taking my dogs to Hawaii! So ya, I am also an animal lover. I would never put my animals in a situation that would be detrimental to them. They are FAMILY. Not your family, MY FAMILY. The gentleman stated that the crates they were in would get him in trouble. Of course I would never want to jeopardize anyone’s job but this needs to be addressed. Now that I am settled and in my new location I feel it’s important to advise the future participants and I hope that this review helps someone.

Unfortunately for me, their convenience of using larger than required crates meant that the dogs needed to ship in larger crates and of course to that was slightly more expensive. I’m already spending $850 per dog, $1,000 is not much difference. I was able to send one dog on the original day due to someone else “leaving a crate behind”. How convenient.

The cost was one thing but the rest of the ordeal is what brought me here. Originally for the desired crate size of 40” for a golden retriever and a Chesapeake bay retriever, their at home crates were deemed too small for them. Turn around have space above their heads and are comfortable in their space, was not good enough for them. I had to leave a dog behind, get a sitter and find someone else to transport my remaining dog. As well as get a new health certificate.

I will not recommend using Hawaiian for shipping your dog and if you have another option, take it. Alaska was kind and appropriate though slightly more expensive but no disappointment or wasted money.

Terrible customer service , everyone in the front desk should be fired , grace had an attitude and doesn’t want to help at all , I was standing here for 45 mins before anyone said anything to me . Then they keep telling me to come back in an hour twice. Corporate should be wondering why so many bad reviews.

Delivering 2 boxes (8lbs total ) to cargolux and waited more then 3.5 hrs. At somepoint the cage gets to crowded because you have drivers waiting to get loaded or offloaded. ( not following covid guidelines at that point ).

Night management sucks!!!! 1 person working. 20 people in the lobby. 1 person has already been here for 3 hours. The manager doesn't care!!!!! I wish could give it 0 stars!!!!!!!!

Got turned away for not having the original health certificate for my pet. Make sure to have the actual original otherwise they won't take it. Once I came back the following day, customer service was awesome!

During the outbreak of this airline, because the Mercury office was not properly managed, a large number of people stayed in the office and the impact was very serious.

Calls my company.
Then lies about have my Bill of Lading.
They request my email from my coworker.
I call them back and request them to send BL.
They never send it.
I believe they scammed to get my email.
If there is a hell, you know who goes there.
