Pretty good place, our small town Home Depot with a good selection of lumber, hardware, plumbing supplies, good electrical section and the lawn care section is really good. They carry the entire Stihl product line and have plenty of lawn treatment products.
Only reason it's not 5 Star rating from me is because it is difficult to get help with lumber usually. This has become the place for lawnmowers.

My family and I stopped by Sutherlands for a last minute purchase for items for our chicken coop. About an hour before closing we weren’t expecting friendly customer service since no one ever wants to work hard at the end of shift. But man we were wrong Jose was so helpful and was so amazing! He not only helped us pick some items for our project but also helped us load everything up! Excellent service from him. Thank you so much for our pleasant experience at Sutherlands mineral wells. (Saturday May 4th at 7:30 pm)

I visited there today with a return. The cashier and manager were both extremely rude to my husband and I. I could not believe how horrible their customer service was. They tried to accuse my husband for returning the item in poor condition (when it was actually never used) along with saying there was a missing item in the box that was never even there to begin with. When we had them show us what they were talking about they then agreed to an exchange because there was in fact nothing wrong with it. When we got the new item home we even realized the other item they claimed to be missing still wasn’t in the new box! The manager was yelling everything he had accused my husband for in front of the entire store. I then proceeded to tell him that when I even first purchased the item for my husband on his birthday I made it home and the main item wasn’t even in the crushed box they handed me and I had to go back up there and get it. It was honestly the worst experience of customer service I’ve ever encountered and I’m just in shock after the whole thing.

My water heater went out in our home. We called ahead and spoke to a nice women on the phone that stated they what we needed. My husband drove to store from Perrin. My husband couldn't find the size water heater so asked the "grumpy" older man in the plumbing dept to assist and was assisted but with attitude. My husband never complains but this man literally seemed put out and continued to give my husband wrong information. My husband needed to purchase a shut off valve for the purchased water heater the employee tried to sell my husband the wrong parts. Thankfully my husband always checks these things himself because we don't live 10 minutes from anywhere and of course they were wrong. My husband being tired of the employees attitude and trying to sell him wrong items, he went after purchasing the water heater at Sutherlands on over to Ace Hardware where he was treated with great service and correct parts. Please, please have someone speak to this gentleman about customer service because it's important. You have just lost a long time customer to now Ace Hardware. Thanks

Bought a rototiller from here at the beginning of spring, locked the engine up with in one hour of use, returned with no problems and found it back outside there in June, pick up a deck "package" just to find it an incomplete order and will have to return to collect the rest of the deck. Yeah I do not recommend.

They have quality stuff but a little pricey. The windchimes I bought were over $200. My wife loves them, she says they're too nice to put outside!

The only time I have ever been disappointed with the products from this store was when it didn’t have what I had called ahead about, But…, when I got to the store they were sold out. Took me a month before I returned to purchase birdseed in bulk. I have since learned that even if I had bought it and nobody removed it from the shelves they would say first come first served. Luck of the draw.

good store handy as we go and come from west TX often..but if you are a veteran or qualify for a discount be sure to say so up front..Cashier was very miffed that we did not see the sign before she started ringing us up. Other employees were helpful but some had on no badge or identifying shirt so shoppers know they work there.
