Southern haulers llc in ailey ga is a great place to work at but they have no concern for the safety of their drivers! They have no electronic logs for the drivers who run out of state and they just tell them to just start paper if they see dot! Haha! Also if you are sick or if ypur child needs to be picked up because she got injured they will get upset and give you a choice run or unemployment because they are more concerned about maintaining customer relations and money than their drivers!! The guys who run the port who bring containers out have to go through alot and they are definitely underpaid! The equipment they gave are all lease trucks they have contracts through penske with and they are good but man they are so cheap with doing repairs or whatever. They say oh that's penske job we just pay lease just drive it till you get it back to the yard then we will call the break down hotline. The thing about that is that are you going to make it back to the shop and safely when you can just pull it over and get it fixed but southern haulers don't want to pay a little fee. If ypu are dangerous tired they will still make you run because they want those loads delivered lol. Also they had a couple drivers accidents they had one hit someone one didn't lock his fifth wheel and Rolled a 50,000 lb container off the truck and another drive under a bridge that clearly stated 12'5" lol and all these drivers did not receive drug testing or write up or anything they simply gave them a different truck so they could still work and fly under the radar do they wouldn't get in trouble with the insurance or dot. Haha watch out foe southern haulers ailey ga!!
