Sadly after so many years this store.this location and the 7 total stores were sold out due to owners health. Dennis was an active part of our community and lots of his customers miss him.. Brookshires has acquired this location and as customers we expected/hoped for better prices etc however it seems prices have risen. They do offer discounts to customers over 55 certain days of the week which does help. Unfortunately due to demographics this is our only grocery store within 40 miles or so. Either Brownwood or Abilene so most of us buy here and are happy to see it remaining open. So many of our stores have closed over the years.

I checked no but, Yes..this store does have multiple businesses (3)! It's the only grocery store in town. So I'm not complaining. But I did make use of their banana pudding at the deli..I guess! I love the banana pudding and added twice the amount of the ingredients of my own

Lowest quality produce that is over priced. Anything you see on clearance has already gone bad or out of date. This store has been ripping off the local populace for years riding on the "support your local grocer" scheme. Well the grocer should support it's customers too.

Over priced on most everything.
Freezing cold in there.
Produce sux and is so wet and cold that as soon as you get it home it spoils. Most of the staff are friendly, there are quite a few checkers and management that could stand to learn customer service skills

It was a good store. Some good selections of products for a little store. Nice deli crew. They have a hot and ready pizza area but make them only on request. But they did have chicken and sides. I like little stores alot. It's amazing how they have some items that big places overlook.

Everything about Shopping basket is great. The employs are very nice, the young men and lady help with the groceries. The fresh food;meat,veggies, and the bakery is good quality food. The store Owner Dennis is very kind Man including the Store Manager's. They are all great. Shopping Basket has been around for as long as I can remember, (I just turned 57). Why 4 star's? My only complaint are the prices. With my low income I can afford very little. "Inflation" is horrible isn't it.
