I received the best service after purchasing wheels and other accessories for my old skates. The staff is competent, resourceful and will not hesitate to go above and beyond to help you along the process. Although they unfortunately do not have a phone line, they corresponded with me through emails. I highly recommend their high quality products. They also sell a Luminous wheels individually… the only place I know that offers that service.

Lack of Customer Service, No response from multiple emails /attempts at contacting them.
It says a lot about a company that once they get your money they refuse to respond regarding issues or questions about an order.

RollerskateUSA, Devaskation & ProSkatersPlace all have Excellent Customer Service, they respond promptly to email inquiries answer any questions. They even offer solutions. Rollerskate USA even answers the phone and offered a mobile phone number that they will answer with any further questions.

I would highly discourage anyone from wasting time & hard earned money on SG Sports, they re not concerned with repeat business.

I originally stopped at Roller Skates of America in Lawndale hoping to buy inline skates but due to the increase in popularity: they’re all out! The employee who helped me there suggested I go here and see if I can try some pairs on.

I got there and felt like I was in the wrong place. It’s definitely a distribution center, not a shop. And it’s in a warehouse looking thing. Still I decided to ask the employees and they were more than lovely and allowed me to try on a pair they suggested after listening to what kind of skate I was looking for. I immediately fell in love with the pair they gave me and decided to buy it right then and there using in-store pickup.

I haven’t skated in about 10 years so I knew almost nothing going in so I was VERY appreciative of their knowledge and advice. I was also wary of buying a pair online and it was so much more comfortable for me to be able to try these on before purchasing.

I wanted to get my wife new inline skates for her birthday. There are no good options around LA to try on inline skates though. I stumbled across an earlier review that said SG Sports was a distribution center, but they would let you drop in, give you advice on the best skate for you, and try them on. So we dropped in. And they were great. They helped my wife find the right skate for her, she tried them on, and they even gave her a set of slalom cones. And they carry the nicest inline skates you can get in LA. I'd definitely buy from them again (my wife already has plans to).

I couldn't be happier! I was hesitant to buy skates online without trying them on first, but I discovered there was a Seba distributor up in LA and was invited up to try on the skates. I was very impressed with how knowledgable they were about every fine detail of their products, as well as their involvement and dedication to the skate scenes local and abroad. Not to mention how friendly the staff was! If you're in the US and have any questions about Seba or FR skates, SG Sports is absolutely the way to go.

This is the best place in the country I know of personally when it comes to getting skates and equipment. SEBA/FR has amazing quality but it's the customer service that makes this place stand out above all others. As a skate instructor, this is where I send my students that are serious about inline skating.

Bought inline skates from them for over $200. I tried them on by skating around the block before I realized they were too small, and they will not let me return them because of this. Would not recommend this place unless you 100% know the skates are going to fit you.

Lack of customer service is a defining point of this company. I ordered the "wrong size", which to me was a computer error or an interface level error for their mobile site, where the drop down showed one number but actually presented another.

I emailed asking about a return and to tell them that this is a potential problem with their site... but all they could tell me was that I don't know my own shoe size. They were not even open to the possibility that it could have been an error on their end.

So, I returned the skates and they made me pay for shipping ($30) and then once they received the skates back, they tacked on and subtracted what was going to be refunded by another ($20) because of original shipping costs. So now I'm in process of getting my refund and am down $50 just because I wanted to return something that was too small.

To make things more hilarious, as I am writing this email, I noticed their own customer support manager Noah Shaw gave their own company a 5-star review on Google. Not only is this embarrassing, it just goes to prove my point and reflect poor customer service. As proof, I have attached a side-by-side comparison to expose Noah for the loser he is.

I do NOT recommend this company and they do not prioritize customer satisfaction.
