Recently used this storage facility and purchased several moving essentials from this business on Houghton. They DO NOT honor the U-haul "100% buy back guarantee" on moving boxes. When I returned with unused boxes the female customer rep informed me of this in a nasty tone, pointing to an in-house printed sign, all sales are final. She really could use some training in customer service and develop a more pleasant attitude. Also, my signed contract for the unit stated a 10% discount on the monthly rental; I recieved the discount for the first month only. When I inquired about not getting the discount the other 3 months I was told it wasn't put into the computer correctly and I couldn't get the difference refunded. Check your bill for accuracy. I rented a U-haul truck from another location, but they routed it to this place because it was closer to my home. The U-haul had a coffee (?) spill in it and we were told that even though they charge for returning with spills they don't clean them. So make sure you have them put a note on your account so the the U-haul drop off location doesn't charge you for the mess. Finally, I waited to post this as I didn't want to be retaliated against and charged a bogus cleaning fee for a storage unit that I left spotless.

This place is very unprofessional. I would recommend taking your business literally ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Honesty and Ethics go a long way and unfortunately, you will find neither here. We vacated our unit and notified the office, we were subsequently charged on the 24th for the next month, even though we had already moved out and swept the unit clean. When management was notified we were told they would not be issuing a refund, as a 10 day vacate notice is required. So after vacating on the 21st. This crooked company feels charging an entire months rent for the two days remaining into Feb. for what would encompass the ten day notice is somehow fair? Rational? Or ethical in the slightest. I offered to pay a prorated fee for the two days and was told “sorry we don’t do that” so if anyone would like to use a unit free of charge for a month please reach out! It’s yours, although I wouldn’t trust my property to this circus ever again!! I will continue spreading this info on every avail platform I can find…..you people should be ashamed of your selves. What a horrible practice.

My apologies for getting the storage units mixed up! A bit pricey but worth it during to security and conveniences.

The unit lighting is outstanding, entry into unit buildings with carts are easy, not just where the asphalt meets the concrete but also the door holders so not fighting the door while trying to get cart in and out.

Personnel were always very helpful & spent time with me to get in the correct unit! If the location were different, the extra money would have been worth it.

This place is great for all your moving and storage needs. They were easy to work with, almost everything handled over the phone, and was a quick visit picking up a truck and all my moving supplies once there in person. I liked dealing with these folks during my truck rental, it made the decision easy when I needed a place for storage as well. Glad I chose Rita Ranch Self Storage over the others in the area. Priscilla was great to work with. She was very kind, professional, helpful and efficient! They offer reasonable prices for the sizes of their units. I honestly don't think I would trust another location with my storage items (as this is in a very good, safe part of town.)

I drove clear across town to pre rent a 10'×10' unit. I told the gentleman I may not need the unit if indeed I were able to move into my home by projected date. It said it would be fine & if indeed I found out i did not need the unit & if I were able to give them a 2 week notice, I could get at least 1/2 my $ back. Well, I gave them more than the 2 week period. They refused to give me a penny back. I never even stepped foot in unit. I would like to think during these hard times people could be more friendly.

I couldn't be happier! I like the extra security and the cameras they have all over the place. ?

Zero stars if I could. Reserved online for 120 a month, they offered a 10% military discount as well. I show up to complete the reservation and they ran the price up to 189.99 because it was the last one AND they couldn’t do a military discount because it was their last one. No Military discount I could live with but don’t run the price up because it’s your last one. Pathetic.
