Very happy here. I started as a local driver and I will say good and bad things here.

Good:
Retail freight contracts they have are amazing at least 80% of their deliveries are drop and hook at the stores

If not drop and hook the stores unload quickly and if it’s pallet pull off(rare unless TJ Maxx) they pay you $20 per stop which is fair.

Owner operators do very well here set milage pay plus fuel surcharge.

They DO NOT micromanage you whatsoever, in fact YOU may be mad bc your texting asking questions that they may take some time getting back to you, (they do not babysit drivers)

No driver facing camera

Good Log department, Randy and Melissa are amazing and understanding when your in a HOS dilemma. (Legally) also they will never edit your logs.

Safety department is OK, however, I will reference the issue I have with them in the cons.

They take care of road service issues promptly and pay breakdown pay (even for owner op if it’s trailer issue)

1k anniversary bonus

100 per month safety bonus

100 bonus weekly for working 6 days

Cons

Trailers can* be outdated, which doesn’t mean they don’t pass inspection, but as drivers we know DOT can/will find a issue on a trailer and it makes us a target if the trailer doesn’t look the best NOTE* not all trailers are bad, but this is a mid sized carrier so your gonna get some older trailers. It’s part of the game.

Company driver pay, I feel could be better, but they ALWAYS get you home.

They do .1cpm per year of service which I feel is not enough for driver retention.

This could be a pro and a con, but they expect you to work, they have enough freight to move you, so if your having problems at home, depending the severity they expect you to work at least your 5 days which isn’t unreasonable.

I am owner op here and I love it and plan to stay for years, premier has changed my life and I truly owe them my dedication bc I got a speeding ticket in my PV while I was waiting to drive for a different carrier, they allowed me to stay while ticket was pending. Drivers complain and say bad things, but if you have aspirations of being a company driver and saving for a truck and staying on the lanes you have been on this is the place.

We made a reservation through our hotel which uses this company as their primary transportation service. They have a desk at our hotel. First off when we arrived in cancun, had a boarding pass for this company to pick us up and they did not arrive. We then had a reservation to bring my daughter back to the airport but my husband wanted to go with her. During the reservation process they said this was fine and then he can get a ride back to the hotel. And basically they screwed them. Driver told him he was not going to bring him back.

Cons:The add on indeed said they pay 1400 a week for Local driver’s only to find out ,they only pay around $600-$700 and some weeks you’ll take home high 500’s , just be honest and don’t lie … The trailers are old and sometimes hard to locate, you may have to drive to other locations for a empty trailer.The trailer issue can be fixed from a management standpoint on making drivers bring empty’s to the drop yard Pros: as far as equipment the mechanic staff is very professional and the get right on repairs dispatch is a 7/10 . If you decide to work for this company just make sure they are honest up front about pay ,because it was a bait and switch.

Most inconsiderate drive. Parks in the middle of the lot and then goes and takes a shower. Making it hard for other drivers to get around him to the fuel island. What has this industry come to. Thanks for being such a professional. 🤣 🤣 joke.

They suck with detention pay. They lie about the delivery times. Please don’t think you will make over 1000 after taxes and whatever else they decide to take out it’s not worth it. Please don’t let your truck break down, they don’t get you hotel room. Instead they ask you to find a ride home then get mad when you won’t find a ride back to there truck. Also don’t get sick and have a work excuse on how you can’t return back to work. Your dispatcher will get mad and fire you 😮‍💨 You don’t get paid for your full millage also! .60 empty and loaded they say they pay extra for drops and hooks you don’t see it. Oh and don’t let them give you a live load, your detention pay starts 2 hrs after your appointment time and it also maxs out after 5 hours. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anybody.
