I had an old gallon of paint where the label had faded and took it to be matched at the Post Oak Ace Hardware in Elgin. I see others were successful in finding a match but I unfortunately was not. Not only is it NOT EVEN close, it is a horrible color and I will not be using it. Out $40 BUCKS. I will be heading to Sherwin Williams now.

Every time I shop here I have found the staff consistently friendly and knowledgable. I bought two variable-speed drills from Amazon and had to return them both because neither one worked. Came here and they were more than happy to demo the drill at my request before I purchased it.
I've come in here several times needing some obscure little part for a project, and they took me right to it without hesitation. Unlike with so many places these days, they really know their stuff and they seem genuinely glad to help. Highly recommended!

Nice folks in a nice place, but you can't get there unless you really mean to do it! A little tough to find without GPS or already knowing where you're going, but Google Maps got me there no problem.
Average, run of the mill hardware store. Clean, well stocked. If I lived around there I'd shop there.

it was easy to find what I was looking for. The staff was friendly and helpful. The staff was also quick to help. I was greeted when I came in the door, and I was thanked as I left. Prices are fair and product selection is adequate.
