Please Read!! TO CHECK IN to pickup a COIL you enter from main port of entrance/ gate. BE ADVISED As a trucker you literally need $3 CASH or else they tell you to go get it out of an atm at loves truck stop near there. After main gate, When you enter the port of brownsville you drive straight on the same road until you reach the third building I marked in the picture below. Once you reach the building, go where I have put red Mark and enter the building from the east side.

But before you enter the building park your truck outside, walk all the way down the long building until you go to the West end of the building and you'll see couple of Mexicans with disorganized old Check in desk. You wait until someone asks you your Pickup numbers (PU number) and then he'll hand you your bol. Then you go get your truck and drive inside the building and there is old rusted coils outside on the west side of the long building. If your bol says "Tarp", I advise not to because those coils are already rusted. After you chain, you drive out from same gate you came in to port of brownsville.

Today was 85th the Anniversary of the Port (Oct.23).A Beautiful day to take a 1 hour port tour by boat. The port director gave us a fist-hand account of many port facilities as well as interesting history of the port.
There were numerous free-food and give away venues from local organizations. Congratulations Port of Brownsville for another well-planned events.

They ask you for 3 dollars cash to get inside the port
Never in my life had paid for get inside a company
It’s Sound like a Mara M13 fee

We had a wonderful time- learned a lot

My only complaint is

I feel that free water should be provided
For those who don’t or can’t. drink the free beer and free wine that is offered
Disappointed that just alcohol is provided
Free during the whole trip

What a wonderful and informative tour! Thank you to Captain Murphy, Ethan and Jennifer for their excellent and fun service. They even rescued a couple of hats that got away from our passengers! The shrimp was more than just a sample. Yummy! Hoping to take this tour again next year.
