This was the first time my husband and I ever came to " The blue Plate". The service was absolutely awesome!!! Everyone seemed to working like a team getting orders together for take out, taking orders at tables, making sure EVERY customer was happy and taken care of! Our waiter was a very sweet guy, clean and neat and was working his tail off like everyone else that I seen. Our food was brought out at a very reasonable time, it was hot and plated like it would be if your granny fixed your plate to fill you up!! My husband had the hamburger steak, with field peas, turnip greens and home made Mac and cheese. I had the fried shrimp with fries and coleslaw. We tried everything off of each other's plate just sampling. EVERYTHING was WONDERFUL!! and on top of it they serve this amazing corn bread while you wait. I don't eat corn bread... I know l, I know stop judging me lol, but I did try this corn bread and I'm telling you from someone that doesn't really eat it, that was some dang good stuff!!! They also make home made tarter sauce and oh my goodness they need to bottle it and sell it!!! Everything from the service, cleanliness of the restaurant, the other patrons to the amazing food served to us you just done get any better than that!! We both have officially named this our new favorite spot and it only too eating 1 meal from there to love it that much!!♥️

The Blue Plate Restaurant is a great place! Excellent, home-cooked meals and good, fast, and friendly service. This may sound like a canned review, but it's not. The food is fantastic! The atmosphere and service are really nice, too. Highly recommended.

The food was awesome! Customer service was great, but the other customers were a little racial towards us. We still enjoyed the restaurant without no hesitation of the line to order food.

To the owner coworker you wouldn't take a check from us and our bank was local and where you live local and this was the first time we've seen your store so of course you don't know us but you lost a lot of business from us will give it to somebody else who is willing to take a chance on honest people thank you very much and have a blessed week

Blue Plate diner has the BEST "home cooking" when I don't want to cook. The Ace Hardware store has any kind of hardware, plus US Post Office inside, AND a nice boutique.
