Miguel and Pedro showed up with the moving van on time to my place in Palm Desert. They packed my things carefully and we had a good chat about how long they’ve been movers and how much they like working for Movers Happy vs. some other companies they’ve worked for in the past. They were super organized and my things were loaded and delivered to my new condo on time. That’s not easy to pull off either given the usual heavy Socal traffic.Once they arrived they placed my things the rooms according to how I labeled them. Unpacking the boxes went very easily for me once they left and I un-packed.

I wanna take the time to extend my sincerest gratitude for Move Happy. The gentlemen that came to help me move today were Manny Mario Miguel, and Pedro. What an amazing group of guys. They were efficient, patient, kind and most of all SUPER helpful. This is my first military PCS move. I was so nervous and had no idea what to expect. However, these guys made it super easy and set the bar extremely high for all of my future moves. It isn't easy being in the Military and having to move so frequently. However the support and dedication of these men made it actually fun. I enjoyed talking with each of the men and helping them with the packing as we chatted. Truly an experience that I will always remember and cherish. Again, thank you to Manny Mario Miguel and Pedro. I can not recommend Move Happy enough. I will be forever grateful to you for making my first military move a pleasant and memorable experience.

Where to even begin! Long story below.

My journey with move happy began when I was shopping around for someone to move my things from San Diego to Maui. My first interactions were with Alex. He quoted me $2695 (which in retrospect seems impossible) and told me my things would ship out the Saturday after my storage unit was picked up by their moving team. He told me my things would arrive about 25 days after my pickup.

With this promise it was a no brainer that I’d work with them. So I put down my $100 deposit. After that I never heard from Alex again.

Then Nathan came into the story. At first he was communicative. We made a plan and I would fly from Maui to San Diego to meet the team who would pick up my things. I didn’t know exactly what was in storage so it was hard to get an exact quote - but I got a pretty close list of what I had and I was now in the $3100 range.

Arrival to San Diego - went straight to storage and made full inventory list. Sent it to Nathan. He then sent me a new quote at 10pm (when movers were coming at 9am) of $4100. So now I’m in San Diego, night before move and he’s telling me it’s going to be $1000 more than expected. Can’t get in touch with anyone night OR morning of move. It’s a Saturday. No ones answering.

Finally I get through to someone and she says she will make some calls, they get my quote back down to $3600 and I agree that they can come do the move.

The movers were the only professional part of this whole experience. They were lovely. However at the end he told me based on cubic feet it was gonna be an extra $500 so I still paid $4100.

Here’s where it gets bad, the weeks following the pickup. So at this point multiple people on the team have told me my stuff would ship out the Saturday following my move. I don’t hear from anyone, in fact I call and email Nathan numerous times and nothing is answered. So now I’m thinking I got scammed.

Finally hear from Nathan on a Tuesday, he promises to update me once a week and never does. at this point I have about 10 unanswered emails and voicemails to him. He intentionally ignores my calls. when we do communicate he has no answers, he is blase and unprofessional. He is the worst person I’ve worked with at move happy.

Weeks go by and I have no updates, my stuff hasn’t shipped. They’ve now changed their time frame to say it would be 6-8 weeks for delivery. I’m so fet up. They never answer my calls. So finally I get in touch with Tia. She is semi apologetic and offers me a $150 refund (LOL). She also tells me they can’t know when my stuff will ship, that they are waiting for more clients to fill the container coming to Maui.

6 weeks after they picked it up, it was dropped at the Long Beach port. I am livid. They told me it would ship days from pickup or one week max.

So it arrives to Maui about a week after shipment. At this point a new person is updating Me, her name is Sophia.

Delivery date : 9 weeks from pickup date. They give me a window of delivery. Between 12 and 3. At 230 someone calls me and say they’re running behind schedule. Meanwhile I’ve planned my whole day to be home for this move.

At 4 they arrive, at first so nice. I had to pay my balance so I just included a hefty tip for them in my Venmo. After about 5 mins they were completely rude to me - left my house in shambles. Surprisingly none of my art or mirrors are broken but a bunch of my furniture is damaged and I am missing some things.

Move Happy is definitely a company I would use again. They were flexible with my schedule, followed up timely and when we finally decided on the final move date, they booked it. It was a same day pick up/delivery move and made it super easy and stress free. On move date, 3 movers showed up on time and ready to go! Everything was loaded within two hours and we were on our way to our new home 15 miles away. Once there, they unloaded and placed all boxes and furniture in the labeled areas! When in doubt they asked and worked just as hard. 2 hours later everything was unloaded and we signed all of the paperwork! These 3 movers made our move 1000% easy, reliable and fast. These 3 mover were here to work and got the job done fast! Definitely would recommend them again and if I need to move again, they’re first on the list! Well worth what we paid! Thank you for all the help!

Had a great experience moving to my new home with 'Move Happy' movers. They arrived exactly on time with a team of 6 people. They packed everything needed carefully, including my bedroom, kids bedrooms and computers, kitchen, storage, toys and even outdoor jumper) disassembled and assembled all of my over sized furnitures. They were supper professionals, fast and efficient. All arrived safely to my new home, and they placed each box in the room it was labeled for. They helped me with everything I needed. It was an easy transfer. Highly recommend team. super nice, hard worker.

We moved from Alaska to Maine and most of I stuff was broken or even gone threw and taken. They have not sent us a claim form and have ghosted us trying to get a hols of them. 1 out of 10 would not recommend!
