As a Heartland Express driver who uses this facility a few times a month, it's not a bad place to go as it's safer than the local truck stops... but the place could certainly do with some upgrades...

The dirt lot isn't a major concern of mine, but I think some gravel and fill dirt is needed as there are some big holes in the lot... I've almost knocked my lower side skirts off going through the lot once.

The bathrooms are quite outdated and could use some modernization. Half of the times I've come here, one of the two toilets seemed to be clogged or just wouldn't flush at all. I'd suggest updating to those high-pressure toilets most businesses have in them nowadays.

Other than that, it's a great lot if you don't want to be pestered by people knocking on your doors to ask for spare change or other things at the truck stops.

Great carrier for regional beer runs. Or paper mill roll stock. And the Elogs never fail. Only the drivers fail from not pre planning every aspect of daily life, and not being psychic. Driver turnover here is only 99.9 %. Top pay of 35 cents per mile. Drink lots of water and stay away from costly food. You will be rich in no time. Possibly retire in 50 years or more. You are treated like family here, this is why you never run hard like you were told you. Family is good at lying. That goodness you found this job, or you would be working at the truck stop, or McDonalds, or Wal-Mart where you get benefits and possible stock options. Who wants those things? The trucks here are always newish and smell fresh like dirty laundry and that is always a bonus. You will almost be so happy you hired on here. And Merry Christmas to my fellow truckers. Be safe.
