We were hard pressed, trying to find a mechanic who wanted to take on this particular engine replacement in our Tow Truck, when our primary truck mechanic referred us here to Nate! Not only was Nate extremely willing, he was also professional and communicative. They were able to finish the job within a respectable amount of time, and in winter months even. Excellent diesel mechanic! I was traveling through the area, a long, long way from home, and broke down. They were able to look at the truck and do the minor repair in a week. Had it been major work, it would've had to wait, which is understandable. Thankfully, I just needed a radiator and fan. I've saved they're number just in case of breakdown on future trips in the area. Highly recommended to friends and family!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mid State Diesel for a second time, and I can't say enough good things about Nate and his team. We had a fuel pump swap out and the addition of a FASS lift pump to avoid the Duramax 6.6 LML cp4 fuel pump timebomb. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with professionalism and a genuine willingness to help. Nate's crew went above and beyond to ensure the work was completed quickly and the engine was running smoothly. They were thorough, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. The quality of their work exceeded all expectations, and their customer service was top-notch. Immediately after leaving the shop, we took a 2,000 plus mile trip to Nebraska and back without a hiccup, the truck ran flawlessly. Nathan and his staff were very personable and respectful. It was also very clear to me that the knowledge that this shop possesses is BEYOND REPROACH. I can easily see why someone would drive 300 miles one way to have their vehicle serviced at MSD. Anyone can read a code - but the best want to know why it presented in the first place. If you want the best care ... this is where you want to go.

Even though Nate was having a baby literally (congratulation), My husband was broke down in Payson for 4 days. Nate took time away from his new baby just to help us fix our truck. I wish I could give 10 stars!!! Very reasonable on the price, especially what was wrong with the truck. He definitely knows more than most diesel mechanics.
