I dropped off my Peterbilt 579 over the weekend for basic service and troubleshooting an electrical issue.
My truck was finished when they said it would be. To my surprise they found and fixed the electrical issue with software that another shop could not do. I wish I would have got the name of the older white man that worked on the electrical issues Monday morning. So I could thank him here by name. My dome lights aren't dimly lit all the time anymore. Thanks.

Truck broke down on my drive home to Cedar Rapids IA due to compromised oil filter gasket costing me a $1,000 tow bill. 4mos later and still NOTHING! I was also told that the A/C system was “fixed” however, 2hrs out of Gainesville and no A/C. $3,000 later and on MY DIME it’s fixed and working as it should. It is complete crap that this MHC stealership didn’t stand behind their sale. AND a new issue has been discovered that involves a Technical Service Bulletin issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in 2019 regarding the EXACT issue I am currently experiencing.

Great customer service, fast truck repairs, informative and helpful. All of that was great, but Tory King went above and beyond to point me in the right direction from where to eat and even spend the night at a safe place in my truck until my windshield repair the next day. 10/10 would recommend if your nearby and need some work done.

Stop going there unless you have plenty money to paying for your service.
1. Worked on my truck without calling and and give me the quote.
2. Working on my truck for oil leaks, and still leaking after service.
3. After oils change didn't fill up the fuel into my oil filter reservoir.
4. After complaining for the warning lights appeared on the dashboard.
A. Stop by get the service, first they are replace my TURBO.
B. Replace my EGR valves & EGR coolant.
C. Clutch and many more parts...
Got my truck out and after 2 or 3 weeks after the same.light warning came back again.
Finally someone i known just release the air out let the fuel fill up the fuel filter reservoir and adjust all the valves for fuel blowing.
All the problems solved.
Should I thanks this dealer for their wonderful service after I spend $80K can't find the problem with my truck

So I purchased a truck here in June was told that the truck had been completely gone over. My sales rep was at a different location in Knoxville Tennessee. He was told by the sales manager at this location when the truck wasn’t blowing cold air that he was taking it into the shop to repair it two hours. On my drive home, not to mention the three motel nights that I spent over paperwork not being completed. I got two hours. On my way home back to Iowa, and the air-conditioning stopped blowing cold air. I figured well when I get it back to Iowa I can get it looked at by the local Kenworth MHC so I continued on my journey and an hour and a half away from Cedar Rapids. Iowa my oil pressure gauge went red. I pulled over immediately open the hood to find oil dripping from the entire underside on the passenger side of the vehicle. so I had to have it towed to the MHC Kenworth in Cedar Rapids, which cost me just shy of $1000 which I have not yet been reimbursed for and it turns out that the dealership in Cedar Rapids determine the problem was a gasket that was on the oil filter had been snagged on a piece of metal that if it doesn’t get moved out of the way, when servicing, these trucks would create a seal failure and it did so the Cedar Rapids MHC fixed the issue, then told me that it was finished presenting me with an invoice which I was surprised because I had only had the truck less than 24 hours. Well they worked everything out. However, I still had an air conditioning issue to deal with which has finally been remedied to the tune of approximately $2600 for any of you who are looking to purchase A truck from MHC Kenworth be extremely cautious. Do whatever you can do to cover your behind because you will not receive any sympathy or support from MHC. Once you sign on the dotted line, it has been the worst experience that I have ever had purchasing a vehicle in my 55 years.
