This is so unfortunate and so upsetting!!!!!
Owner ops beware!!!!
They want you to unload your trailer and not pay for it..yet they claim it’s apart of the load pay always ask for more on the rate for driver assist.
It was a workout & exhausting
The line of trucks I was behind to get into this location was crazy.
No help in finding where to go once we got a door..having to ask people and beg folks on where to go thats not how it should be. They spend all this money on cameras and top notch facilities and pay nothing.

Everybody working at this amazon center here, needs to be started off with every bit of $20 per hour and better. This is not the normal amazon center. That $1.50 raise per hour is NOT an upgrade. It's a slap in the face. And what amazon list as the hours hiring for, it needs to be just that. People pick this up as an part time job. Then have to drop it because the hiring hours are not correct and they add on 1 - 2 extra hours. So your 4 hrs become 5 - 6 hours , PER SHIFT & interfere with your regularjob. Slavery at it finest. But hiring for this location at $16.50 is a JOKE. Giving you a $1.50 raise for $18 per hour is a BIGGER JOKE. PAY THEM PEOPLE $20.00 PER HOUR AND BETTER UP IN THERE. AGAIN THEY DESERVE IT AT THAT FACILITY!!!!!! Other Amazon facilities don't work near as hard as that center do & they come in with $18.50- $ 20.00 COMING IN PLUS THEY STILL GETTING THE $ 1.50 RAISE TOO. DO BETTER AMAZON.

These people made me unload the whole trailer by myself, 57 years old with cancer.

They unloaded the African guy trailer with a forklift because they was all African

The other driver told them he would help me not knowing my situation but the security gal told him no, he wasn't supposed to be in there but he was in there the whole time with me

When I asked for the manager , Daniel hall, he come out fussing at me like I was the enemy not knowing the Africans just ganged up on me.

They sent another security lady out there to act like she was on my side

I'm filing a complaint with corporate where the manager basically told me good luck.

I completed the load but am highly upset. Alot of favorites going on there.

I arrived to unload same time as african/Jamaican driver, not really sure bad accent.

They unloaded his truck with a forklift and when it came to my time they gave me a pallet jack to unloaded myself.

The other driver attempted to help me but they denied him stating they did him a favor to let him in because he didn't have proper foot wear. But he was in there the whole time.

They then proceed to tell manager I was cursing them out which was untrue. I was asking for the same treatment they gave their countryman so he came out with an attitude and told me to unloaded myself or wait  2 hours.

I proceed and struggled to unloaded myself while everyone watched.

I do apologize but I will not do this load again due to the unfair treatment I received.

BY THE WAY, THE FORKLIFT OPERATOR TOLD ME TO SEND HER A CASH APP TO UNLOAD MY TRUCK BEFORE THEY WISKED HER AWAY TO ANOTHER PART OF THE WAREHOUSE.

SHE REFUSED TO HELP FROM THE START STATING IT WASNT HER JOB SHE WAS DOING A FAVOR.

DO A FAVOR FOR ONE YOU MUST DO THE SAME FOR ALL.

The manager with the attitude was DANIEL HALL. HE CAME OUT ON THE WORD OF THE EMPLOYEE WITH A BAD ATTITUDE BEFORE LISTENING TO ME ABOUT THE SITUATION.

I was a little disappointed how KC just handed an operational problem off to security to address, and then when asked for assistance from security on this operational issue, this team was unsure how to handle the problem because this is something that KC handles. Now KC spent 20 minutes speaking about “leadership qualities” but did not lead by example on ensuring all new hires codes were operational instead of handing me off to a team that did not know how to address the issue. Instead of “passing the issue” to another team, I would have thought KC would have made the effort to ensure the issue was resolved. Good leadership requires trust and communication and ensuring that your new hires have the tools needed for operations in order for the team to do their job.
