This is a very childish environment! You have to be cool with your team leader to even learn your process correctly . To come to work everyday you have to go through metal detectors and empty your pockets and keys . No phone are allowed inside so if you have small kids you can only check on them on your hour lunch break . You only have two breaks one is 15 the other is a Hour. You are standing on your feet the whole ten hours. They throw you on a job show you how to do it once and expect you to know how to do it from there by yourself . I’m giving this job 1/10 . The one Is for the weekends off . It is horrible . If your team leader is not there they send you to a whole new line . No holiday pay even if you go through the door . You have to wait six months to get holiday pay.You express a concern , your concern is overlooked . Just get yo money and go home if you wanna work here but please don’t make this a long term job because it is beneficial to you at all in the long run not even for retirement this job is a joke and just a easy job to get into if you need a job as a stepping stone

I Have worked in fabrication all my life and never ben treated so rudely. Material in Motion can get out of their own way to move forward! I worked for the top 10 glass and window manufacture in the world for decades, and a Lean leader. If you want to be positive happy, and sane I don't think, you will find it hear.

I recently worked at material in motion in regards to the job. It’s really nice inside a very clean facility. We have to wear these blue jackets every day to work. You have to have a badge so you can get in and out the building. It’s very military-based the bathrooms are clean. My manager was really nice. I was putting on labels on the cable cords because it’s a company that is working with Google. The only issue I had was there’s no retirement in place, I feel like they should have a retirement plan for their employees but everybody was nice. Every job is going to have their good days and bad days but I really liked the job. You have to get up early if you’re working in the morning like I said it’s military-based but if you had any issues, you could always go talk to HR. HR was very nice I can’t give you a lying review I can only give you the truth , if you need a job, it’s a good job to work at but long-term there is no retirement plan. I also heard the health insurance wasn’t that good but I didn’t get a chance to try it so this is my honest review. I hope this helps. I never had a issue going to the restroom when I needed to. Mrs. Patricia in Room C was nice. Every job has characters and different elements. Stay focused and out the way. Get money and leave.

Everyone says prison/jail is the worst place on Earth but I to beg differ , Material in Motion is . You can not have metal , your cell phone , not able to talk to your co workers , only able to use the bathroom up to 5 times a day . From the moment I walked in I experienced racial profiling , jealousy , hate and drama . The worst leader ship in the world is inside this building . Even the government has better leadership than this warehouse. I wished for better days and I finally happened when I left . Do yourself a favor and leave while you can . DONT APPLY!

A lead sent me to HR because I was sweating. Glad I quit and I'm glad I'm now ineligible to come back. The staffing company didn't even mention the name of this place before applying. That's how bad it is in here.

I don't know where to start. Run and not walk away from this place. They treat you horrible and if you have doctor's notes saying you can't do X,Y&Z they will not accommodate you. People in HD are too young. I feel there should be a age requirement. If I could give no stars I would. Please stay away from this place it's not worth the stress. Mark my words this company will go down sooner than you think.

Worst job .pay good but not worth it too many rules . Run while you can lol Everybody sleeping with each other . You can’t have your phone nor water in warehouse but meanwhile no clocks and only water fountains eww . You have to walk in a straight line like you back in high school. If you a minute late to work or from break supervisor waiting at door to write you up . Best way to describe material and motion : childish
