This morning was my first time in Katy Postal. I hate going to Post Offices because they always have a long line. So I took the chance and went to Katy Postal since it was closer to my home. Walking in, there was no customers, which was nice since I was trying to make this quick! The lady smiled and welcomed me. I explained to her that I needed to mail off my son's graduation announcements and I needed stamps for them. She happily helped me figure out how many books I needed and offered to help me. As she helped me put on the stamps on the envelopes, we chatted a little. It was overall a VERY nice experience and I would highly recommend going here.

I've been using Katy Postal for a while now, but needed to come leave a review. For starters, everyone here has always been incredibly nice, and helpful. I went in last week with a list of things I needed to get done, and they helped me quickly cross off 3 things at once! I had a return package, which they took, taped up, and added the label for me! I had Christmas cards to drop off, and needed stamps because I had run out. Took my cards, and even offered to help me stamp my remaining cards as well. Seriously, the best service, and being able to cross off 3 things off my list at one location. I will be a customer for life. Thank you!

Good services and easy to drop off packages. Employee was very nice. I’ve been taking packages here for a long time, although there are a lot of competitors to use nearby.

However, today the employee quoted me a price and I then gave her my credit card and when she gave me the receipt, the total was higher (by 3.5%). There was a “non-cash fee” detailed on my receipt. When I asked the employee what that was, she stated it was “a fee charged by the machine.” I told her this has not always been the case at this location and she said ever since this owner installed the new machine, it charges the customer the fee to use a credit card. I actually don’t think she really even understands how those work. The processing company doesn’t charge the customer unless the owner of the business has set it up that way. Most businesses pay the cc transaction fee to provide payment flexibility for the customer in this electronic age we live in. They don’t pass that fee onto the customer at least without telling them they are going to do that.

This is just another example of a small business owner that doesn’t want to pay for the cost of doing business with their customers. With the cost of inflation, I’ll just go somewhere else to ship my packages.

If you want to charge your customers for using their credit card, at least post that in writing at your place of business and/or have your employee highlight it to your customer. Otherwise, this is a deceptive business practice.

I like this store a lot but the lady working in the late afternoon on 7th October did not take our packages to be dropped with requested receipts and made us wait for another 10 minutes while working on other stuffs and skipping to the next customer who bought stamps from the store. My teenager son asked me about it after we received the package receipts and I did not have any answer. Please ask the employee to honor the queue! I must say that this was one off instance here.

We enjoy dropping off our packages at this location. The lady, who is probably the owner, is very friendly and professional. She always handles our packages with care and provides a receipt upon request. Thank you for the excellent service!

Katy Postal continues to be a god send for shipping. The worst two places you could tell me I have to go are the DMV, and the US Post Office.

Katy Postal makes it a breeze to ship from all the main companies (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL), and go out of the way to make it easy. Today I had a very large box that needed more tape (I ran out) and the team helped me get everything secured, labeled, and ready to go out.
