They had a halfway decent system going and then they ruined it. This DC is in one of the busier suburbs of Chicago and one of the many reasons drivers don't like delivering to the area. Changing construction patterns on the interstate, narrow streets not made for trucks, and the way this DC operates makes this warehouse a total nightmare. You used to be able to check in up to 4 hours early and they had a staging area for early arrivals but no more. Now you can only check in up to 2 hours early. If you show up any earlier they will tell you to park at the truck stop 3-4 miles down the road which depending on the time of day might be full. Most of the security guards are not very nice nor helpful. When assigned a door you put your paperwork in the back and wait for a text to pay the lumper fee so you don't want to be in a dead sleep when the text comes across. Then you sit for several hours while they unload, count, and break down your load. When the dock light goes from red back to green then they're done at which point it'll likely be dark and parking will be non-existent since they like to schedule mostly late afternoon appointments. I'll never shop at a Jewel Osco store after seeing how their distribution centers operate 👎

Appointment time 5 PM arrived 4:30 PM ready and unloaded 7:01 PM. I can say this is my first time here and everybody has been very professional before I came here. I read all the comments of course negative I don’t know what these people are talking about I guess I’m lucky according to them, but this is one of the most professional places that I’ve been in the past Will definitely come by here again was unloaded door 12 lumper paid $210

You can check in now at the gate 2 hours before your appointment, they give you a door and you put the papers in the back of trailer and pay lumper by phone, when finished you have a green light and papers in the back of trailer as well. 2 hours and $191 for 2 pallets, maybe I was lucky this time

After reading the reviews I was dreading going here. Check in is accomplished via web site or qr code. Just follow the instructions given in writing by the security guard. It's all no contact. Although the message you receive says go in and get your paperwork, it is in the trailer. The security trailer after entering the facility is not hard to find but its only one guy doing check in and check out so it's kind of slow. I wasn't there forever but still.not the swiftest.

Always come here with 2-4 pallets and always here for 3-6 hrs. They will unload you fast but just keep you hostage for hours like they forget to give put your bills in the trailer and give you the green light.
I could brake this load down and count it in less than 30 min but they don’t let drivers do it here smh.

Stay away from here if you can,people that unload your truck don't care about your time. They will be on the dock talking while your clock run down..i hate this place ( stay away)

I was looking for a second security post for a long time. No signs. I waited 7 hours for unloading. From 5 am to 12 o'clock. After unloading, it is impossible to check out because there is no one in the office. We stood in line for an hour, but no one showed up at the office. Everyone went into the trucks. All drivers are late for the next load. All drivers don't want to come to this place again.

First I’ve been here many times and usually show up early stage in lot then exit once done usually 8 hours later. But to my surprise they no longer allow staging. So I was told by security to head to 300 north ave n wait till an hour before my appt. Get this she said they have a deal with them and they allow us to park free till appt time. That my friends was a bold faced LIE they have no deal. I made several drivers mad cause I don’t carry cash and I don’t use my own money for company functions so had to write a Comchek to park holding up the line to get in. Learn from my mistake and just show up on time. I assure you this is my last load here. I do not tolerate folks lying to me for any reason.
