Slow process to check at guard shack, but is even slower to check in at shipping and receiving. They make you wait to “verify” the load and if you don’t ask after a few minutes they don’t bother to check their system and let you know that the load was verified. Once verified they send you back to your truck to get loaded and they take even longer to load you. Backing in blindside when there are trucks and trailers parked in front of the other trailers in front of the dock is no joke. It slows things even more. IDC please respect the drivers time, we make an effort to respect your appointments, and know that once we get loaded we still have to drive to the receiver and deliver your product on time. 4+ hours to get loaded I think it’s a little too much.

Sorry management, but you need some go getters not some lazy Dock workers.
Staff at shipping office were friendly.

Where is the pride in these dock workers 3:20pm to 9:45pm on Elogs is not good Business for my company or yours.

They can’t even get out of dock to put a seal on trailer but they sure like to talk down to the drivers.

If its a safety protocol then its understandable not to get off dock.

But don’t have the dock workers talk down to drivers or demeanor them especially if you don’t know that drivers history.

Treat others like you would be like to be treated.

Not a good representation that I would like for my company or any other.

They won’t let you check in before appointment time. Even check in at gate, you still need to check in at office, at office , they need to verify everything, it should take more than half hour, after that, they take 3 hours for load, and another half hour for paperworks.

3 hours to get loaded, 30 mins for paperwork... 🤡🤡🤡 workers. Itd be 1 star but they got a decent bathroom and vending machines

waited 2:30 for verification of license plates and nobody told me its mismatched. 4:30hrs later loaded up shift is over now i have to
wait for second shift late to my second pick up

Terrible terrible organization and logistics here. They let 20+ trucks into the yard, no one can move and then the yard guy yelled and cursed at me (I was co-driver sleeping in the cab) for not moving when I had no where to move and was blocked in, while driver was checking as he was told to do.
Fix your yard logistics!

Also everyone has to make a blind turn to park. Just reverse the traffic flow of the yard

Edit: my appointment was at 3pm, got here at 1pm. Loading itself only took 30mins. I left at 8pm. Yes the lines and traffic is that bad

What an idiotic place, queue at the door, queue at check-in, and a bunch of people parked in the aisle, can't back up or get in and out. If you can't park in the dock, you can't let people in, or you need to tell them that they have to park and walk to the office to check in. A bunch of idiots.

Damn they guys dont accept CDL A class permit when we renew our license and waiting for hard copy

When DMV allows us that we can drive a truck when we have a paper permit but they guys dont accept it .
