Prices skyrocketing but it's like they wanna conver it up with crappy coupons and deals. If this place is gunna mark prices so high least u can do is have fresh items. I've never seen a place have so many items labeled "fresh" but look like a dog wouldn't even eat it. Walk around Harvey's for 5 min if u want to find the most out of date, expired foods possible. Disgusting

And they say first impressions of everything. And they failed on two first impressions. But first let me say I do like the prices and the store was very clean. And Patricia who I guess it's some member of management and some form was a very nice cashier. But that's where being impressed STOPPED!
Is standing in line being observant. You have two customer service staff behind the counter who could have taken those people standing in line with four or five items and got them out the door quicker. Instead they chose to laugh and joke with other staff members. With how busy the three cashiers were one would think maybe instead of hiding in an office a member of management would have came out and took control of the front end of the store. The bag boy he was wearing a purple sweatshirt. Decided he was going to come in stand behind a register who is waiting for an override who did not need any groceries bagged. So he's there holding down the tile running his fingers through his hair with a little earpod and his ear playing on his phone. While on register six with Patricia he could have been over there bagging those customers groceries and help get the line out the door maybe a little quicker. I decide I'm going to do a solid and call and talk to members of management. So I speak to Patricia who puts me in charge with one of the store managers who I can only assume is the assistant. Is he did not say his name was Alex which was the name on the receipt as store manager. So this store manager as I proceed to tell him that almost 40 years ago I started out with who is now a member of their corporation Winn Dixie at store 0281. My career with Winn-Dixie at running every department except for the front end. And we didn't have delis and hot food cases of things back then. Anyway I told him my perception of his customer service and as I'm talking with him he's listening I'm hoping he's listening anyway cuz there is no response. So I stop talking count for about 4 seconds and I say hello are you still there. He says yes I am which I'm assuming he had my phone on mute cuz I couldn't hear anything in the background. Then he says well I'll have to look into this and see what happened and basically just blowing me off. So is someone who started their career like some people doing the grocery industry at 16 years old and stayed in the grocery industry for over a decade learned a little bit about customer service and how you should be treating your customers.
With a grocery industry only at about a 3% profit margin. Walmart who's up the road who has a little bit of a higher profit margin. You would seem to think you would take a customer's complaint more seriously than what happened. And as well train your customer service staff will actually train all your staff not to be working with EarPods in playing on their phone and especially baggers digging around in their pockets or fixing their hair while they're on the front end. I'm not sure if I'll be back in this store or not. As I live 20 mi away. And there are other grocery stores I can visit as well as Walmart. But I would certainly hope that if I did revisit this store a second impression would be a lot better than the first

Great meats, good quality, especially discount yellow stickers. Occasional produce clearance, which is great! Got a lot of critters, so any help on lower prices is appreciated. Most of the staff is awesome, and nothing about the store itself is negative. However, got the Harvey's app on the phone, never, ever, ever works. Am I the only one?

It's a great grocery store, not nearly as busy as a Wal-Mart, but it is a lot easier to get in and out without walking forever. About the same prices but better help, if you need it!
