I was asked if this Grocery Outlet or the Jackson one is better. That's a tough call. This one has better deals, but the employees have reportedly complained about the owners. It's been going on for a while from a wide range of employees when you ask how they're doing. They'll be courteous and friendly to you, but it just feels sad. I've seen the older guy owner staring at them as he wears street clothes. A few of them have made "jokes" about cameras down the aisles not being for shoplifting but so the owner can watch them. So I tend to make the drive to Jackson more and more despite the price of gas. Do I really need to save a couple bucks if the employees are beaten down?

As we all know grocery outlets are not consistent with their products, however, this store has bare essentials most of the time & you always need to check dates, lot of stuff is exspired. The workers are all very nice. I'm not happy about that the Owners who do not keep their word. A friend of mines husband had applied there for a job, he never heard back, he called thebstore and a staff member told him to reapply, that the owner always checks all apps, he reapplied on line, still nothing, he waited 3 weeks and reached out again, this time he spoke directly to the owner, whom assured him that his wife calls all applicant & she would contact him either way...nothing, he never heard a thing! Kind of irritating...so all & all I decided to just pay more and go to Marvals. Where they have a selection, & things are not past the date.

Cheapest for groceries in the town of Valley Springs, but the meat is not good for the most part. Do they get quality meat sometimes, yes, but it is consistently not that good. The cuts are bad a lot of the time. Hope the economy gets better so I can buy at Swingles again and only go the Outlet for other items which are usually good enough. Sometimes their bread products are already condensating on the shelf also, which makes the bread go off faster.

Grocery Outlet Valley Springs is my first choice for all my shopping needs. When i want something specific, I'll check the other stores. If you're lucky you can find really good deals, like the lamb leg for $2.97/lbs. But definitely cheap but with branding items, and good quality.

My favorite thing about Grocery Outlet is the fact that it is so clean. Also I don't think I've ever seen a dog in the store. That makes me happy!

No one should have to pay for grocery bags but that's what we get for living in this corrupt state! It's not the employees problem! Animals, except true service animals, don't belong in stores.

I do enjoy the prices and variety of items at this Grocery Outlet store.
Three stars only because a bag of small apples, which I purchased, were...odd.
From now on, I will observe:
1) Does every apple appear a clone to each other.
2) When set in a bowl on the counter, do the apples ripen/ rot as they should.
3) Does the apple rot, as it should when left out, cut in half.
4) Are there any seeds inside the apple as a " normal" apple has. These did not.
I got suspicious, so I left the entire batch out on my counter.
The cut one, after 1.5 weeks, did not deteriorate. Slight browning did happen, yet, not as a tree grown apple would.
The rest of the group, with skin on, I left on the counter on a plate. After 7 weeks, they all were just as they were when I bought them. ( hmmmmm).
Early on, I did try one.
No flavor to speak of yet the waxed skin had a nice scent as they all did to the very end before I checked then in the waste can. ( I felt my animals do not need these, whatever they are's.)
Will I shop there again? Probably, just perhaps not in the produce section.
