I want to give my honest review of this company....i went through orientation and i immediatly noticed some out of the oridinary things on day 1 .....i was told on the phone they would uber me to orientation and get me a hotel for 2 days of orientation .....that was the first lie ....they had another driver pick me up in a semi and drive me to orientation ....got to orientation and i did not get a hotel instead i got a truck to sleep in .....for lunch they ordered me a fast food burger only ...no sides no drinks ....ok 1st impression was they are extremely cheap ....than they make every one sign a paper stating if you quit without honoring there 2 week notice your last paycheck will be paid out at min wage .....than they tell that the owner/president of company decides your 401k match depending on performance of company yearly lol ......cheap cheap cheap! .....insurance was terrible.....than they ran me nashville to north carolina mainly and dictated where i was going to fuel .....my dispatcher was god awful and talked to me like i was a child and was very hateful .....his demeanor was sassy and he truly annoyed that he had to dispatch people ....the worst part about it was you would get a load lets say from north carolina to indiana .....they would 100% every dam time make you stop and fill at there terminal in nashville to get fuel ....costing you 3 to 4 hours of drive time because of dowtown nashville traffic rush hour .....didnt matter they dont care about your miles .....they are a cheap as it comes .....mr. crabs must run this orginazation ......i would not reccomend anyone to apply here

They can fire you whenever they want. Thats in orientation they will tell you. You'll find out. Being honest they let me go as if it was nothing.
"Not going to drag this out, we're terminating you" that's what I was told.

11+ years driving for FirstExpress and still the BEST driving job and company I've been apart of over my 25+ years of driving! Excellent pay and benefits, home weekends with my family, great equipment and just a great bunch of guys in the office that treat you like a friend and not a truck number! I would recommend anyone come and just give them a try and see for yourself!

These folks do as they say they will do. They take care of the people who drive for them. I've only been with them a short time but my needs have always been met. From Ben, in recruiting, to Sonny in safety. Adam is a great dispatcher. My one lil gripe is they seem to like to micromanage you sometime. But other than that. First Express is way up on the scale.

Micro managing back staping less than truthful drivers are far from being treated well. There are worst company's out there. But this one is definitely not a driver friendly place.

Very professional , treat you right , young dispatchers no one to talk over you cause they have alot of experience, great pay n miles been here over 8 yrs n still going great , and newer trucks and trailer and pretty much great place to work

Miles fluctuate, good ole boy mentality. Be very careful of being stabbed in the back if you don't roll over instead of standing your ground against their authority
