I was trying to fix my tiller I had gone to Lowes and fastenal they had almost the exact hardware needed

Called to find out if they had brass plugs before i made the trip and instead of a simple yes, i was asked what size...which is common question.....so i told her im not sure but i could take a guess and i guessed 3/4 with what looks fine thread. She howled well thats not pipe thread !! So i told her well thats why im calling yall so i can bring it and maybe get some help on size thread pitch etc.....Yes, it came out of an outboard motor but it is just a simple brass plug on a drain line that is common in houses, commercial, industrial, marine and automotive industry. She scowled at me well we're not boat motor specialist !!! But the thing is, its not a proprietary part..... its just a plug on a drain line that i need to replace 2 of.....yall are a fastener company.....this is a fastener. I am also a site manager for energy industry in search of friendly vendors who dont treat potential large quantity PO customers like this. Shape up FSI....and people wonder how local or small privately owned mom and pop businesses are loosing customers to the big box stores or to places like Fastenal inc......well this is a good reason, customer service really sucks nowadays. Always the customer who needs to be grateful for doing business with you instead of the old way around.

If I could give a unlimited amount of stars I would. Their customer service is outstanding. I would like to shout out to Benny and Jacob for going out of their way to help me with removing a stripped hex Allen bolt on my expansion valve. As hot as it was outside they refused to give up and successfully pulled it out. Being 6 months pregnant, short and have T-rex arms I would have never been able to get it myself. Thats not all they went even more beyond to help pull my ac expansion valve out as well. Even after a long battle my expansion valve just wouldn't budge. All in all I am very grateful to have met and receive help from these to gentlemen. This year has been tough for me learning how to fix what is broken or what someone else has broken on my car. THANK YOU BENNY AND JACOB FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND. I highly suggest everyone visit this business on Kinsey Rd. Off of Ross Clark circle (84 going west). Kinsey Rd. Is located right next to the second circle K on on the circle.

I searched all over town and online trying find some threaded rods to repair my seawall.
Thanks, a friend told me about Tim and the other guys at Fastener Service because they had everything I needed on hand to complete the project.
The price was more than reasonable for a better product than big box stores could even special order for me.

If they dont have it you probably dont need it. Over the last 20 years they have bailed me out of more jams than I care to count. Some of the most knowledgeable people around when it comes to their products. Always been a pleasure to work with
