The city is collecting money, takes forever to do one tiny road project, doesn't really do it correctly, just wasting money and people's times. Poor infrastructure, poor planning, poor policy, and they do not balance their checkbook at all.

Amy miller is complacent in, if not excited about, the degradation on any local business that does not pay the Chamber of commerce for the right to exist. Bad policy, decades of tenure - she should be removed from bureaucratic power. From the folly of the Dr. Phil fiasco in the early 2000s to the current discrimination against not-chamber-MAFIA-protected businesses, she needs to be removed. She should stop pandering to the Molly Alexanders of our community. Sorry, not sorry. Keep Elgin real, keep Elgin affordable. Stop pandering.
