Being a first-time home purchaser, I had a lot of questions. I didn't have any idea about mortgages. I just started with a lender search and ended up with many misleading pieces of information. Though a few lenders offered lower rates verbally, they later presented me with various other fees that were not disclosed earlier. I almost lost hope in buying a home.
