HIGHLY recommend this company for moves! I use a company called Russells for local moves in LA - excellent company & highly recommend them too. I moved to WA & needed 64 boxes moved from CA. I remembered Russells saying they also do interstate moves so I called them. They got my move all arranged & Dickerson was the local company at this receiving end in WA so I wanted to get a review posted for them too. They showed up on time (within a 4 hour window). It was 2 young guys & I was dreading that all the boxes needed moved up 5 stairs into my house & then up a flight of 15 stairs 😖 Man, these 2 guys were FAST & STRONG! They carried 2 boxes at a time up the stairs each & had the boxes delivered in about 30 minutes! They were courteous & respectful of our property. I’ll call Russells first because they arranged it all & they are amazing. But if Dickerson ends up being part of the move, I will be happy. They were awesome & highly recommend them!

This is a revision of a review for Dickerson Transportation Solutions that was posted on December 30, 2024. We ordered an electric adjustable bed from Sven & Son. Dickerson Transportation Solutions was provided the contract for shipping from the factory to our home. Dickerson subcontracted with a company out of Grand Rapids, Michigan called ZZZZZ Moving. (Please see Yelp for a Review that was posted for ZZZZZ Moving). Within hours of posting our previous Review of Dickerson Transportation Solutions the owner contacted us via email and with a telephone call to see how he could correct what had gone wrong. We had paid for in-home White Glove installation. ZZZZZ Moving assembled the bed at our home and did it incorrectly rendering the bed inoperative. Working with Sven & Son company and their third-party warranty company a technician came to our home and found the issue. During set up of the bed, ZZZZZ Moving had created a dead short in the electronics which rendered it inoperative.
Dickerson Transportation Solutions has gone the distance to correct our situation that was a mistake of the company they subcontracted to deliver and set up our bed. They have agreed to reimburse us the money we spent for White Glove Delivery. They are a reputable and professional company that stands by their work and we highly recommend their services.

Dickerson Transportation Solutions via ZZZZZ Moving out of Grand Rapids Michigan made a delivery of an electric split king adjustable bed base from Sven & Sons at our residence on December 24, 2024. A White Glove Approach was requested and paid for but not received.
Delivery was extremely poor as the truck was parked in a manner that partially blocked most of the street. The two-delivery men were very hard to communicate with as they spoke very little English and could not read English. They did make the inside delivery but were not attentive. They entered the home and did not remove their boots while completing the setup in a bedroom with new carpeting. They did not have any knowledge of the assembly of the electric bed frames. I asked them if they had done this before and they stated they had not. Opening of required boxes for set up was careless and the instructions for set up were not reviewed/read. (Please see above.) As the customer, I immediately saw that the delivery people did not have minimum understanding of the required set up of the bed and the customers had to engage in the assembly process. I began reading the manual and gaining an understanding of the bed electronics and my wife called Sven & Sons, the manufacturer of the bed for assistance. The delivery men (2) did some of the set up, but the electronics of the bed do not work. They were supposed to be well vetted, knowledgeable installers but they did not have any understanding of the process required. As the owner I had to manage and complete the set up. The White Glove Approach did not occur. WE PAID $265.00 FOR THE WHITE GLOVE APPROACH AND IT DID NOT OCCUR. ATTEMPTING TO GET A REFUND IS NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE! A RIP OFF! Do not use Dickerson Transportation Solutions for any residential delivery! We are left with a king-size electronically controlled bed that is useless. The owners must now engage with the manufacturer to find the required solution to make the beds operative.

Please find below examples of the extremely poor delivery and set-up. The delivery//installers:
 Did not know which end was the head and which end was the foot of the bed.
 Installed the mattress brackets backwards.
 Did not know how to install included batteries in the remotes.
 Rushed to leave the job as they kept stating they had fourteen more deliveries.
 Did not have a knowledge of how to install the legs on the bed frame.

I'm waiting for my order to be delivered since May 22 (I placed the order with a furniture company on May 15) and no one has called me to schedule a delivery. I'm still waiting for the headboard to arrive. Very dissatisfied with the services from this company.

It's easy for companies to get good reviews when everything goes perfectly. My shipment had an issue, and my customer was not happy. Dickerson Transportation does a great job. They do their research beforehand to find the right LTL option for us. They follow the shipment every step of the way, providing updates.
