I received a call on the 17th that they would deliver a piece of equipment on the 18th as scheduled, between 1 and 4 and was told that the driver would call me 30 minutes before he arrives. I went to the location to get the equipment inside on the 18th at 1, finally called the terminal at 3:50 to see what happened to the shipment and was told they decided not to run that route due to weather. I get that, although a call to let me know would have been nice. Rescheduled for the 22cd, was told equipment would arrive beyween 12 and 2 ,requested a driver call ahead. I got to the location at 11:50, driver was there, no call ahead (which I paid for) and he had an eight month pregnant manager at the account helping him with the delivery. When I asked him why he didn't call ahead, he said " I don't have to call no damn body" I called the terminal to complain, asked for the terminal manager and of course, received no call back. I work for an equipment manufacturer who ships out multiple truck loads a day, we won't use Dayton again.

Was given a window between one and five for a piece of equipment to be dropped off. Driver never showed and never called so I finally had to call at 5 PM only to hear someone there tell me that they weren’t gonna make it today… Crappy customer service, use somebody else if possible.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I had a couple of pallets shipped through them since YRC is no more. Good prices for LTL shipping. I will use them for my shipping needs.
