I absolutely love this Ace Hardware! It has that perfect hometown vibe—always clean, well-organized, and welcoming. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help, making every visit a pleasant experience. They usually have exactly what I need, saving me the hassle of driving to Acworth or Hiram. It’s so nice to have a well-stocked, convenient hardware store close by. Highly recommend!

Great location, filled with helpful employees. Bought a few household items needed for a newly purchased house as well as had some keys made. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Lovely store, too. We will definitely be regulars.

I decided to purge my email and discovered one that I mistakenly did not send in 2017, hidden in my Drafts Box. Although this happened that long it is necessary I post because of the impact it had on me.

So here goes. . . .

My first contact with this store was deceptively cordial and relationally enriching. It was a phone call. That encouraged me to attempt resolving what I saw as a simple matter. My experience that time around was unpleasant at best.

When one of the staff - who identified herself as Andrea - told me to "have fun" trying to seek redress using available resources, I knew that did not line up with professionalism, the standards of the ACE brand, and my suspected value of a long-standing neighborhood store in the South.

In 2017, during the 'unexpected' snowstorm in Atlanta, I purchased a Shovel on Saturday December 9th, around 2:30pm. I noticed it was not the Snow Shovel I was used to up north or hoping for, but decided to settle for it, as it was becoming difficult to locate one. Halfway back home, I received notification about finding a real Snow Shovel, which I picked up before getting home, and used to shovel the snow around my property.

The Shovel I had purchased from this store was not used at all. It was pointless to keep it since I now had one that I had used. So I planned to return it the soonest.

On the following Monday when I attempted to return it, the store refused to accept it. I painstakingly explained why I was returning it and appealed to the humanity of the staff, hoping to make a connection based on some level of respect and trust. My attempt was rebuffed much to my disappointment.

I'm not sure if this matter was ever presented to the owner, or the appropriate person who handled such issues. This could have been a very simple matter to resolve. But it was not dealt with properly.

Yes, it's now 2022 but the experience impacted me enough that I'd want what I intended to send in an email then, made known publicly now.

Came through on the way to Kennesaw on the search for a few things. I walked in saw two employees. Was not greeted the entire time... Made eye contact twice with red haired girl and still no offer to assist. Walked out empty handed and bought elsewhere.

I had been looking for a certain type of wood conditioner for several months. While searching online to find a location near me that actually carried it and had it in stock, I found this ACE hardware store. When I entered the store, I was amazed at the massive diversity of their stock. Everything from electrical, plumbing, nuts & bolts, etc, paint, household cleaning products, roofing and tile installation products, grilling, and birdfeeders, etc. The list just goes on and on.

I was happy to get the conditioner at ACE. The "Big Box" stores didn't have it. They didn't even carry it.

I’ve been purchasing pine straw for 30 years and this was the worst quality. I loaded and unloaded 40 bails at the store and my home and when you break open the bails there was excess of large sticks and pine cones. Super dry as the straw just crumpled. I told the owner and said no problem and that he had ppl out and for the reason of the 15 minute wait @8:30 in the morning with one car in the parking lot and ppl walking bye and not offering any assistance (workers) This place is not worth the stop and just go to the Depot or have Jose bring it. Terrible company. Also they sell 4 runners and other things but I see cheaper elsewhere.

These guys really know how to keep their stock in order and have what you need. No need to go to the big box stores when you have a store like this nearby.
