Recommend against using this place! All of my belongings were covered in mold and I’ve been getting the run around by their own insurance company that I paid to cover these very types of things. No offer from the company to assist and I’m at a loss of virtually everything I stored inside. There was water within the enclosed roof and still they (CoolBox) and their insurer are dodging any responsibility or financial compensation. Don’t recommend and will update this review should they finally come through and own up to these damages even partially

So coolbox storage was just what I needed there customer service reps where all so friendly even there drivers!! You get that one on one service most of the time... the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because the prices could be better... and sometimes when you call....

You have to wait quite a while if not having to call back because there to busy to answer! So maybe needing more hands on deck sort of speak! But other then that none of my items where damaged of course unless I did it myself while packing ? but they do offer insurance on your items if you are concerned but all in all was perfect! Thanks cool box!

Go anywhere else! This company is horrible I was given a quote and then when it was time to get the storage unit sent back to the company they write a way up the fee by over $100. Then instead of honoring the quote like I was given she said that it’s out of her hands I was given attitude the whole time and at the end they said that they still cannot honor the quote that was given to me and again was told it was out of their hands. I was scheduled to have my Storage box dropped off at her new home they didn’t come the day that it was scheduled and I was promised that it was going to be delivered the following morning when the morning came it was not dropped off I called and again got another excuse from them stating that it will be there from 8 to 5 and there is no other way they could get it in the morning. This company has nothing but excuses horrible customer service and just after your money to get the most out of you. I would recommend going anywhere else.

It’s a shame they’re going out of business. Box was as advertised and couldn’t be happier! The lady who answered the phone was amazing to talk to. She made me laugh during the process of purchasing. Once again, sad to see them go.

Everything has been great until the day I scheduled to move my stuff out of storage, and they were able to scheduled for the next day over the phone so i signed a rental agreement. One hour later they left a message that they couldn't do it . I had to call in the morning because they were then closed and they pushed it out another 3 days - and made reference to the agreement I signed that they have 5 days to move my stuff.

I just finished moving and used a Cool Box and let me tell you.... I could not be more pleased with the entire company. Everything from ordering the box, scheduling/coordinating drop-offs and pick-ups, the driver who handled the box and the actual box itself was clean, seamless, and professional.

Sara Casillas was super easy to work with and get the ball going. She helped me figure out what size box I needed to rent, told me how renting worked, gave me a fair and reasonable price ($$MUCH LOWER than other portable storage companies$$) and kept me informed during the whole process.

Lanetta was pleasant to speak to on the phone and helped work with me to get the box where I needed it, when I needed it; she even was able to get me scheduled for same day pick-up at my old house and same day drop-off at my new house so I didn't have to rent a moving truck ($$BIG money saver$$).

Jason, the driver who delivered my box to my old house and picked it up to move it to my new house was fantastic. He was able to maneuver the box around to have it sit exactly where I wanted it and do so quickly, all while making it look effortless. The driver was also ON TIME for every step of my move which was a huge help.

Every person that I talked to online, on the phone or in person with Cool Box was outstanding.

The actual box was clean, odorless, leak-free and secure.

During the moving process which is a stressful headache this was a breeze. I would recommend anyone and everyone use a Cool Box.

Beware. Our pod was missing for 4 days and we lost the ability to move in to our home for FOUR days (really a week because we were supposed to move in over a weekend). The pod was supposed to arrive Saturday morning. When it didn't arrive in the delivery window of scheduled time, I called to inquire where the pod was. I was told they would look into it and call me back. I never received a call. The pod never arrived Saturday. It never arrived Sunday. It never arrived Monday. When I was finally able to reach the company Monday morning they had no idea the pod wasn't delivered over the weekend. They promised me an 8:30am delivery Tuesday morning. The pod never arrived Tuesday morning. After several phone calls, the pod arrived at 2:30pm Tuesday afternoon. After taking 30-40 minutes for the pod to be removed from the truck, when I went to open it, I discovered it was NOT OUR POD. At this point, I was almost in shock. The company didn't call me when their driver informed them that they had delivered the wrong pod. I had to call them. I was told their head of operations would phone me the next day bc she was already gone for the day. I never received a call. I phoned and emailed multiple times attempting to speak with someone to share our experience. It took almost two weeks to get their "head of operations" on the phone and over 4 hours of hold time on the phone. When I finally spoke with her, she told me she would phone me back that very same day letting me know what the company would do for us to handle our loss of use of our possessions and home for four days. She never called me back. Nearly two weeks later, I finally got her on the phone after multiple attempts to reach her. Her response was defensive and unprofessional. I told her I was waiting to see how they would handle the situation before writing a review- I was hoping they would do the right thing. They had no regard and saw no value for our loss of use and inability to move into our home for 4 days, for the scheduled arrangements we made for movers on both Saturday and Tuesday mornings, childcare arrangements so we could move, and offered zero compensation other than reimbursing the $353 cost of the pod. What I should also mention is that or pod was stored in their facility after being packed up from the home we moved out of. When they were scheduled to pick the pod up from the first home, they called at the actual time they were supposed to pick it up saying they would have to reschedule that pick up for 5 days out. We were putting our home on he market and were having the home photographed for the listing the very next day. It took me almost two hours of pleading with them to make sure they honored their commitment to have the pod removed that day bc our home was going to be marketed and an open house was scheduled and their "reschedule" would have meant the pod would've been in the driveway for photos and the open house. They worked with me to get the pod removed that day, but I had to plead and escalate the issue and missed half of my child's second birthday party to resolve the issue. Incredibly disappointing. I gave the company so many opportunities over the course of a month to make the situation right before posting this review. It's clear that their lack of professionalism and customer service comes from the top- as the woman I dealt with had zero regard for the impact this had on our family and what it cost us not be able to move into our home and not knowing where our most valuable possessions were for four days. I would not recommend this company.
