I get a weekly produce box and am thrilled! They have fresh meat eggs and dairy in stock too and it’s always miles better than what I normally get at the grocery store. Their chorizo is incredible

So glad we came across Bates and his co-op! We do the buy 1 give 1 and are a family of 4. The large family box, fresh eggs, fresh sourdough bread are all so good!! We also loved the raw local honey we bought. The doggies are great to visit too. Thank you for all you do to support local such a giving organization too 🧡

The only reason I'm giving a 4 star review is I can't get 2 dozen eggs at a time. I eat a lot of eggs and don't want to have to go back as often. My experience today was not very good. I asked for 1 dozen and he said "I think I have a dozen for you". Mind you he hasn't been open for 5 minutes and says this. Then he fiddles with his phone cause I'm using a card. Another patron walks up and he caters to him like I'm not standing there trying to pay. It's 20° degrees outside and I just want to pay and get back in the warm car. The other patron gets a family box and then asks for eggs. He said oh yeah I got you some eggs. Before he acted like he didn't have any eggs. 😂 This is comical at the very least. I'm still trying to pay cause his phone won't work and then he walks off. Anyway try and help the first customer before attending another. SMH

I have been purchasing food from Chi Farms for almost 2 years now. Everything is always fresh! They have great options of things to choose from, and the people who run it are the best sort of people!

I was able to get some milk, pickled oakra (normally there's more inside container but I ate some right when I got home), and some seasoning. I'm excited to try some Community Helps Itself local meat and vegetables in the future. Thank you for all that you do Bates; CHI is a gem of local market!

P.s.- extra photo of our pup who loves the milk and my husband enjoys the drink as well 🐄🥛

My husband & I really enjoyed visiting CHI's new home in Red Bank! We attended high school with Bates, the owner, & have been meaning to check out his market for awhile, but things always interfered. Bates is & always has been a positive, cheerful person regardless of what life throws & it was nice reconnecting with him! We love the box idea & receiving fresh, home-grown produce, clean meat & dairy products, without crud that just doesn't belong in our food anyway!! I was also happy to see that he carries things like Elderberry syrup. We highly recommend everyone visit Bates & CHI market ASAP! Don't wait like we did.. we really missed out on some great things!
