Recently picked up our 8.5 X 12 cargo trailer from Colony City Cargo. Spencer was an absolute pleasure to work with. We beefed it up with bigger axles, premium skin, and had other requests that they went above and beyond to provide. He kept us updated through the entire process and it was done in no time. We have been pulling it behind our bus all over the country. The quality is excellent and we saved a lot of money! Very happy customer here!

I picked up my 5x8 cargo trailer yesterday, 5/9/22 from Colony Cargo and couldn’t be more pleased. Mandy was the best. When I first ordered she said it would take 4-6 weeks, but it came in in just three weeks. I drove up from central Florida and would def recommend them. Thanks again Mandy

Colony Cargo was run by Wells, family is operating the business now, they are not a Factory and do not do repairs. Buy from builders in the area and glue their stickers on trailers. DO NOT buy from them, just go to local Factory’s and cut them out, they say there is Warranty but renege on this. DO NOT BUY.

Hats off to Tim, JC and the rest of the gang at Colony Cargo for make this trailer purchase super easy. Except for the drive through Atlanta it could not have been better. Don't go that way! Love the trailer. We rent a 4x8 for a week each summer from Uhaul and have for years. Dealing with Uhaul is live getting a tooth drilled with no Novacane! Not doing it anymore. This thing will pay for it's self in the next few summers. Should have done it years ago. Supper happy.

After looking for the perfect trailer for a few months I contacted colony city cargo and Spencer had my trailer built for me in a week at the best price I have found everything was perfect Spencer went out of his way for me. This is my second trailer from them , I pulled my 1st trailer all over the country from coast to coast and never had a problem looking to getting many more years of service out of it

Buyer beware! These folks will take a deposit from your checking account and not refund it even when you cancel your order that you e been waiting on for one year. They claimed that they were unable to obtain the material to manufacture the trailer (Colony is a reseller of a couple of brands including Arising) but would not refund the $5500 because they had already put the order in with Arising Trailers. There is a reason they do not accept credit cards; they do not want you to have any recourse if you want to cancel an order they cannot deliver. Instead I was told no refund and Mandy tried to convince me to go with a different color or brand of trailer so Colony Cargo could keep my $. Find someone who accepts credit cards or a refundable PayPal type of payment; that seller will have some fear of a chargeback or resolution based on non fulfillment. Now I have to go to court to get this deposit back.
Update 7/28/22: 16 months after ordering this trailer I was notified that it is ready for pickup. The catch: my price increased by $6,745 with this line item in the invoice “INDUSTRY WIDE 􏰅 MANUFACTURER􏰆S STEEL, PLYWOOD, AND ALUMINUM PRICE INCREASE FROM ARISING INDUSTRIES“. I still have not received my deposit back after refusing to pay this exorbitant price increase. I do not know where the positive Google Reviews come from here because I’ve had THE WORST experience with this vendor with any vehicular purchase. They’ve stolen my deposit and are holding it with the threat of keeping it unless I pay their ridiculous price increase. Do not trust these people with your money!

Update 4/27/23: This merchant provided a refund when I went to discuss the issue in person with the new owner. They were very concerned and apparently were not aware of the promise made by prior business owner before selling to them. The business was purchased by a trailer builder who has over 20 years of experience and I would definitely trust Juan and his team with any future orders. I’ll be ordering from the new Colony Cargo owners for any future trailer needs. I saw their factory and spoke to them in person and they know their stuff! Trailers are gorgeous and look like they are great quality!! And they are making them to order promptly!
