My family Happiness starts with a wet nose and ends with a tail!
I can’t thank enough to every single person who works at Chewy. Every time when my four fur babies needed any meds, Chewy provided exceptional service to make sure they got their meds as fast as they can. Several times we had shipments overnight, most of them were free shipments because my babies needed their meds for problems, such a kidney’s failure, CHF, fluids in the heart, etc.
I’m Valentina, and I always will be a mom of four wonderful yorkies, Lexie, Nitro, Alvin and Brittney.
I’m a Christine, a kind and caring person, I moved to US in 2009 from Ukraine as a student. My dream was to give my family a chance for a better future.
`I just wanted to say how grateful I'm. I adopted Lexie and Nitro, and then they had Brittney and Alvin a year later. We moved from MO to Florida in 2017. They were with me through sick and thing. They were by my side when I was not able to do much…
I was diagnosed with Fallopian tube cancer in January 2021. I had two major surgeries, and four months of chemotherapy, and several small surgeries that year.
I’m in a remission now and just had my three years follow up in September, 2024. God is Good!
In October 2022, Lexie got very sick with UTI, nausea and vomiting. I took her to the vet, and they did some x-rays and labs, and I was told that she had a kidney disease, her creatinine was at 3.5. We immediately got meds, kidney diet food, and I was hoping that she would recover soon. But she passed away in February 2023. I was so heartbroken...
At that time my two other dogs were having some issues too… Brittney had pyometra and had a surgery, and she had to stay at the veterinary hospital.
Furthermore, Nitro developed a big pump on the back of his head. The doctor cut it out and drained it.. And I noticed, Nitro was wheezing and had a hard time breathing on a top of it…. After a couple of tests and x-rays, he was diagnosed with CHF and fluids in his heart. I put him on heart meds and diet since then.
Nitro has been getting worse over the last couple months. We had to escape from a hurricane Milton, and I drove them away that day to Williston, and Nitro got really sick on a road back then, but got a little better since then.
He stopped eating and drinking this past week. He was just laying and trying to say something, but he could not make any noise… I had to work overnight last night, and asked somebody to coming and check on them, and I was told the he still was just laying down but he still was breathing. I ran back home in the morning to make sure he is ok just in case if something would happen to him. He was barely alive and reminded me my girl Lexie when she was ready to go to heaven while I was holding him. I had to call Chewy and cancel his regular prescription because he looked completely breathless and gone...
I was so heart broken, tired and crying when I called Chewy. Honestly, I did not talk to anyone about my dogs problems and how much I had on my plate. Yesterday, I spoke with Jenifer from Chewy, and she was very nice and kind, and she supported me and listened to all of my pain…
This morning, I received a beautiful Boquete of flowers from Chewy, and a sweet message from Jennifer to let me know that we are a family and they were trying to cheer me up about my baby Nitro. And thanks Jesus, miracles happened!
Nitro got better today since this whole time lately. Even though he barely walks around the house, he went outside on his own, and he took his meds, food and drink.
I’m very grateful from the bottom of my heart to all what you do and how much you give to our pets and families. Your kind thoughts and gestures warmed up my heart and many others, and my pets including Nitro. We are beyond happy about your care and love that you give to all our fur families and the communities. Much obligation to you all from me and my pets for care and love we received.
My deepest thanks to all and every one of you who works at Chewy, especially Jennifer!
Merry Christmas and Happy 2025 New Year from me and Nitro!!!!
