This is my second time using CFR. We shipped our car from San Francisco to France and back again. Our main contact person was Lawrence Wilkinson and I can't say enough about how great he was. This was our first time ever shipping an auto and I have to say his patience with me was saintly! Every email was answered promptly and our car's journey was always updated in a timely manner.

Unfortunately our car's journey home wasn't as smooth. This has nothing to do with CFR. Our car went from France to Amsterdam and while in Amsterdam it appeared someone or something caused a bit if damage to it. But CFR jumped right on it and our insurance expert at CFR, Maggie, was a dream to work with. I filled out the insurance forms, downloaded an estimate and within a very short time all was approved! No hesitation, no haggling, just approval! I can't stress enough how important opting for the insurance is...stuff happens!!

All in all I can't recommend CFR Classic more strongly!! Good job!!

The entire team at CFR Classic gets a standing ovation! They handled the end-to-end importing of my car from Japan to the US – container shipping, import paperwork, customs clearance, and transportation from the port. It’s a very complex process but they made it smooth and easy, and best of all, they took extreme care of my car and it arrived stateside in perfect condition.

I am so, SO grateful to the wonderful team at CFR Classic for facilitating the shipment of my Honda Element to England -- it was a long ordeal (due to unexpected issues encountered once my car arrived here), but the entire process was handled in the most professional way possible in terms of answering (endless!) questions of mine, always being highly responsive, keeping me informed once my car was aboard the freighter via their excellent tracking system, etc. I was actually impressed right from the start when beginning my research regarding the methods they've developed for ensuring their customer's vehicles stay safe & secure in transit as, indeed, mine arrived with nary a scratch.

They also had, in my instance, excellent UK partner companies who facilitated the seamless hand-off on the receiving end in terms of what was needed for the import process (FYI, my main bugaboo entailed the fiasco of obtaining insurance for my "temporary import," so not CFR or their partners' "fault" by any means -- turned out some recent apparently nationwide underwriting changes were instead the culprit). So my hat's off to both of those companies as well. And, good news, I was ultimately able to overcome that hurdle. : D

Joey was such a pleasure to interact with right from the start, and Ahmad then handled the specifics of my transaction and was a true jewel. The day I delivered my car to their facility near the Port of Los Angeles I could not have been more impressed with the professionalism of ALL the people I interacted with that day as they had a smooth-as-silk receiving process so everything was handled efficiently as well as quickly. I might add that after all the hassle and British-related expen$e, I am nevertheless Relieved and thankful to have my wheels here (especially as, in my instance, my vehicle morphed into a very large suitcase with a steering wheel as I'm not planning on returning to the States).

It's also worth noting that CFR beat out competitors I received bids from both for timeline as well as cost -- so they proved to be a Terrific value as well.

KUDOS to you, Joey, and just wanted to share my firsthand experience with your first-rate firm. Your expertise, warmth, attention to detail, and Excellent communication processes helped make this very significant undertaking a true pleasure for me in the end. I had a hard time finding a reliable shipper for a Renault Twingo that I wanted to import over to the states. My fiance and I thought they were quirky little cars and when we travelled abroad we would gravitate towards them. It was our dream for about 2 years (since we saw one in person) to bring one over. Some companies were just difficult to deal with and unreliable, others would stop responding to simple inquiries. I tried to work with and search for shipping companies for 1.5 years. Nothing was coming to fruition and I gave up all hope and told my fiance that we just weren't going to be able to do it.

The next day I hopped on google of all places and gave it one last go, I found CFR Classic. I was connected with Lawrence and he was very helpful throughout the entire process.

Any question or concern that I had, Lawrence answered thoroughly and quickly.

Midway through the process while we were in the Netherlands, I decided to pickup another Twingo. Our obsession with them is a blessing and curse XD. Lawrence worked with me to reduce the cost by having them share a container and made sure that both cars shipped off without issue.

The entire process to a first timer of shipping over a car is daunting and honestly nerve racking. If I choose to bring another car over I would not hesitate to use CFR Classics again.
