Clean park with lots of aerosol art to see and plenty of play areas for kids. There was a concession stand on site that made us a real tasty quesadilla. The red salsa had a nice kick to it. We will return in the future to check out the art again. There are gates that appear to be locked when closed, so be mindful of the hours of operation.

Great park for the family to hang out at. Play sports or do some bbq or just go for a quiet walk. Tons of excellent murals/art done by many well known and respected artists. The best thing about it is its all legal.

It was so sad to see what condition this park was in, swings were fully ripped off and the grass was extremely dry. growing up in Calwa I don't remember the park ever looking this bad 😞 so it was a shock to me to see the bad condition this park was in the backside of the park look nice it was Green the front part looks so abandoned. I wish I had the money because I was trying to fix this part for the children. I remember the fun we used to have coming here going to the pool to swim. Then going to the rocket to slide down. Well I guess that's all part of the past but it felt nice to go back and remember all the good times I had at calwa Park

Awesome park. Amazing patrons and staff. The staff absolutely made my day just by being present and maintaining the park while making sure people were enjoying themselves. This park has always been a childhood park and though they got rid of some attractions (like the swings and sealing off the rocket) it's an awesome place to meet new people and get some exercise in. And it has a place to eat right in the center. Amazing place for kids, and it always feels safe. Make sure to check out their water fountain, too. It's always ice cold.

Good park overall. Could use more money from the city to update the park. Feels really old there. Nice part is there was a place to order mexican food and the restrooms were pretty clean. More than enough parking.

Very well maintained grounds as well as sport fields. Restrooms were very clean and stocked.
Calwa park is in the
process of finishing the public swimming pool. They also have plans to add two additional enclosed soccer fields. Calwa park is really stepping up and taking care of its people. Thumbs up to Calwa park and its new Administrator 👍👌

It's huge, with lots of different sports and play areas, some play areas for kids lots of space and it even has boxing and Zumba happening here. This park also has food for sale like Mexican food I believe. Love it here
