Good place to stop and stretch your legs as your cruzing 49. Angel's Camp has a easy welling tour that you can refresh yourself with a handmade ice cream or something a little stronger.

The staff are Extremely knowledgeable & Want to teach/share! I took full advantage of that & learned as much as I could. This place is history & nature & I find both fascinating! There's also a lovely gift shop that can get one in trouble, by spending too much, but it goes to support the park.

When the signs said rest area, I thought it would have been a regular rest area like everywhere else. I was wrong, the signs took me for a drive through downtown ending up here, at night. I have to say, the bathrooms we're pretty clean, although the parking was somewhat lacking.

Enjoyed attending the Farmer's Market in their new location; fairly easy to find parking, and it was nice to see friends from a distance.
