I’ve moved cross country 3 times and I’ve only had the pleasure of working with CA-NY Express once. It was by far my best moving experience from booking to delivery. They accommodated my very last minute move (within one week) and the quote given was real. There were no surprise fees waiting for me. Eric was SOOOO responsive and easy to work with. The crew that came to pack the apartment put me at ease and did a great job. They took special care to a few pieces I was worried about. CA NY Express Movers and Eric Rummel, the account executive, provided exceptional assistance during my move. They ensured that I received the best price and that the entire process went smoothly without any headaches. Eric was always available to answer my questions.

The moving teams were fantastic—four movers picked up my belongings in California, and three guys delivered them to my storage facility in New York. Originally, the second team was supposed to take my furniture to my brother's house, but since he couldn't make room during the Christmas holiday, Eric helped me switch the delivery without any issues. I simply called him, and he advised me to contact the customer service representative at the storage facility. They were able to accommodate the last-minute change.

I tipped each of the movers for their hard work and professionalism. They did an excellent job of ensuring all my items arrived safely. I highly recommend CA NY Express Movers. They provided an amazing price, especially since I was out of work, and they took extra care in packaging my larger items to avoid any loss or damage.

A friend of mine also had a positive experience with them when moving to Connecticut, which is how I found out about their services. Terrible. We hired MoveEast for our west coast to east coast move. We packed the boxes ourselves and only had their team move 1 piece of large furniture, a leather couch. The west coast movers absolutely destroyed our couch before it was even loaded onto the truck. They jammed it down our stairwell, causing the frame to break, leather to tear in multiple locations, and ALSO caused damage to our building.

I notified the MoveEast team immediately, who insisted I waited until the items arrived in NYC to confirm damage. As expected, our couch was destroyed when it arrived in NYC and MoveEast offered minimal assistance when we tried to recover damages.

I would not recommend their services.

Moved from NYC to LA and we are SO HAPPY we chose CA-NY Express. They were amazing from end to end. Super helpful and responsive in all things leading up to the move, movers in both NYC and LA were incredibly respectful and did not leave a single scratch on either apartment, and everything showed up on time and undamaged. We packed our own boxes and they wrapped up the furniture. I see some reviews mentioning hidden fees - we moved from a 4th floor walk-up and there was an additional fee for the extra stairs, which I think is more than fair. Highly recommend - they're worth the cost.
