Arrive no more than 30 minutes before your appointment. The main entrance for trucks is at 400 Industrial Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211, put your emergency lights on, stop at the gate and somebody very nice people reach you, give the paperwork and your CDL to them, and then go around of the warehouse through your left hand until door 223 behind of the building, there is the shipping and receiving office, good restroom, vendors machine and they give you the deck door number, put your tandems back for safety, the unloading was quickly, and when the green light is on you can go to the office at door 223 to get your paperwork, let the doors of the trailer open and go to the main entrance gate, they check your empty trailer and you close the doors and good to go! I delivered here sometime they’re nice sometimes eh…
But head of security told me I better move my truck because this isn’t a truck stop.
I had just gotten back in my truck from closing my trailer doors.
I just ask him why do you think I think this is a truck stop?
Thank GOD I was on the phone with my dispatcher he heard the whole conversation.
Then he proceeded to tell me I tell you what…don’t come back here.
I asked why?
Because he said so…
My dispatcher ask a bunch of questions but I had never seen this man until today.
I think he doesn’t like black women driving trucks.
He was really nasty to me for no reason.
But I still showed him respect…

If the area in front of the docks at receiving is meant to help trucks back into the docks, then why is it double stacked with trailers? No signs on where to park (go down to the round about area btw). Receiving guy walked around the area to see what docks were open, then came back ten mins later and told us to park in a slot that had a trailer already (have seen this from other reviews and even talked to another driver the day I was there and it happened to them).
Took forever to unload as well.

The “lounge” is ok. At least there’s restrooms and AC available if you want to get off the truck for a bit.

Got there at 5am for 7am appointment, front desk guy was complaining already about he tired of signing papers. Smh lazy office guy gave me a door with a trailer in it already. Then once I went back to tell him he made a mistake he just waves me off and tell me to go sit down. Front gate ppl are cool. Recieving office guys are lazy. I’m an African American myself so I HATE to see my kind acting lazy.

Very poor customer service! The delivery driver at Buffalo Rock lost the key to my storage unit. I own a vending business, and depend on deliveries coming on time. The delivery driver sent me back a week in profits and made me late on customers deliveries. The driver did not show much effort to alleviate the situation and communicate much during that week. There has been a continuous culture of poor customer service within this eight months I have used them. They have outdated payment options, and are not too interested in getting orders from their vending customers. I would not recommend using Buffalo Rock , especially if you own a business and depend on them. I will no longer be using Buffalo Rock in any of my vending machines, and I will substitute Coca-Cola products instead.

10/26/23 Just the nicest gate person and person in the check-in window. They open at 5am and I was told they'll accept you early if u have an appointment they day. I was the last appointment at 2pm wish I had known I could have went early. No overnight parking.

Another successful drop and this wonderful facility. Staff is great guards are just as great also. Good environment. They are pretty quick. Easy unload at this place.

Treats employees that have been there like they are trash. Long time employees should be treated better. If you have a CDL, don't work here. I don't know what idiot is making decisions for the sales department, but they should be replaced. The owner should value the employees, the past owner did.
