Had an ARB meeting to protest my tax increase. They were completely unreasonable and it was not a fair hearing. Eva Bush was completely unreasonable and pompous. She had clearly discussed my case with the ARB Panel Members prior to my arrival. During the review, the head panel member said nothing had been discussed prior to my arrival. However, one panel member pulled out a deed of trust saying they clearly new ahead of the proceedings. In addition, at one point she said, “We’re going to get it out of you one way or another. Through land value or home value.”. A completely ridiculous statement.

The price someone pays for a property or refinances a property doesn’t determine market value. There are a lot of factors that determine market value including having a willing and able buyer. Compared to other similar properties of like kind and quality, the accessed value is way off. You guys have lost your minds if you think my house is worth $130 a sq ft. That’s freaking crazy. They say my property value increased an enormous amount. Next step i guess is district court or arbitration.

I called to get pay off amounts on my taxes and I paid them RIGHT THEN. Now they have added late payments and extra amounts. These people are totally incompetent.
